First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 37 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 18 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this orange cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in white tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more, plus you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also included an info sheet—and guess what? The custom artwork is back! This month’s design features a large, chubby white-and-orange kitty with big orange heart-shaped spots. I love it!! Created by Gabriela Avila, the floral background and fun colors scream spring. It’s cute, seasonal, and definitely puts a much-needed smile on my face.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Cat Lady Box
Less People, More Cats Tee - Listed Value $22.99
The first item we received this month was this fantastic “Less People, More Cats” T-shirt. Featuring bold black text and orange, white, and black cat silhouettes, this feels more true than ever for me right now! I’ve been a bit stressed lately, and a little me-and-Miley time is exactly what I’ve needed. I can definitely tell we’re on the countdown to the end of the school year, and I’m about over it! Give me the cats, and I’ll happily stay home.
This soft shirt feels great on my skin, comes in a nice gray color, and can be dressed up or worn casually. Apparel like this is always my favorite inclusion, and I really appreciate the fun designs!
Reusable Cats Paperless Towels - Listed Value $24.99
The next item we received was incredibly useful. This set of reusable towels is something I’ve thought about trying but never have. With the rising cost of disposable towels, I was thrilled to give these a go—and they actually worked really well!
My kids thought the prints were fun and exciting, which made cleanup more enjoyable. They were great for small messes and at dinnertime. Like washcloths, they clean up easily and can be rolled back up into a new “roll.”
I really appreciate functional items like this, and while I used them as cloths, I’d love another set to sew into a little kitty blanket!
Kitty Paper Clips - Retail Value $7.99
I do love a functional item, and while I don’t use paper clips that often, I now have cat-shaped ones—and they make me happy! This orange set of clips was surprisingly useful, and at a nice 2-inch size, they hold my paperwork together well.
Since I work in education, these are a great addition—they add a fun little flair to my packets and even give parents a conversation piece!
Scratcher Insert - Retail Value $7.99
Miley doesn’t do a lot of scratching, so while I tried to coerce her into the box, she wasn’t having it. I added some treats, and she ended up eating from the scratcher instead.
It’s a great little inclusion—it fits perfectly in the shipping box and gives kitties who like to scratch a place to do so. While Miley doesn’t really love this item, my mom’s cat definitely will, so I’ll pass it along the next time I see her!
Squishy Kitty Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
This subscription seriously has the cutest toys ever. The next inclusion was a little chubby orange-and-white kitty. Soft and fluffy, it was absolutely adorable.
Miley appreciated this toy about as much as she enjoys other cats—which isn’t very much—but she eventually cuddled up next to it after I placed it in her bed.
Sushi Sweethearts Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
The next toy we received was also stuffed with catnip—a set of Sushi Sweethearts. I can’t stand sushi, but this version was one I could handle!
Again, Miley wasn’t thrilled, but she did sniff at them and even gave them a few small bats once the camera was off her, which I count as a win!
Value – Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $44.99 per month (with a 6-month plan)+ free US shipping. Month-to-month cost is $49.99.

Everything in this box is bespoke to the subscription, so I have to go by listed values (though some of the products will be available for sale in the CatLadyBox shop!) I love the variety of items and functionality, each and every item I received this month was loved and used!
Key Takeaways
Cats are my absolute favorite animal—especially when my dogs are being extra naughty—and I love adding fun, cat-themed items to my everyday life, which is exactly where CatLadyBox shines. I’m always excited to receive this subscription and can’t wait to see what shirt arrives each month. This month’s tee-shirt, paperless towels, and paperclips are things I can use almost daily. And while the toys weren’t immediately loved by Miley, I know she’ll warm up to them. 🐱
If you enjoy fun, cat-themed items and want a monthly treat for yourself and your feline friend, this subscription is perfect. I can’t wait to see what May brings!
