First Impressions

Open Envelope for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month’s theme is ‘Do Less, Glow More,’ and it feels perfectly aligned with an easy, low-effort routine, and the bag design definitely sets the tone. It has this soft, suede-like texture that gives off subtle cowboy vibes, paired with delicate embossed floral details that add a nice touch of dimension. The zipper hardware, shaped like a sunflower, ties everything together in a really cute, cohesive way. It’s one of those bags that feels both seasonal and a little unique, and I’m already into the overall aesthetic before even getting into the products inside.

TATCHA The Matcha Cleanser Daily Clarifying Gel Cleanser, 20 ml - Estimated Value $5.33

Front of Tatcha Cleanser for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

I love spotting a trusted brand like Tatcha in a subscription box, and The Matcha Cleanser Daily Clarifying Gel Cleanser felt like a total staple addition to my routine. I’m always happy to receive a cleanser, especially a gel formula, and this one checks all the boxes. The texture is lightweight and refreshing, creating a gentle lather that helps lift away excess oil, dirt, and buildup without stripping my skin. Infused with Japanese matcha, willow bark extract, and calming botanicals, it works to clarify pores while keeping the skin balanced and smooth. I also appreciated the generous sample size, which makes it easy to really get a feel for how it performs over time. As expected from Tatcha, it feels elevated yet effective, leaving my skin clean, soft, and refreshed after each use. Definitely a tried-and-true product I’m always happy to have on hand.

FEEL 4D Hyaluronic Acid Under Eye Cream, 8 ml - Estimated Value $12.00

Front of Feel Under Eye Cream for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

A good eye cream is always a welcome surprise, and this Feel 4D Hyaluronic Acid Under Eye Cream feels like a solid find, especially from a brand I’m still getting to know. The formula is designed to deliver multi-level hydration with four types of hyaluronic acid, helping to plump and smooth the delicate under-eye area while improving the look of fine lines and dryness. It has a lightweight, creamy texture that absorbs nicely without feeling heavy, which is exactly what I look for around such a sensitive area. I have sensitive skin, so I appreciate how gentle the product is. Overall, for me, it’s been performing as a reliable, no-fuss eye cream that focuses on hydration and comfort without any irritation. Hope to see more from this brand soon!

DALLAS AND JAMES SKINCARE CO. Watermelon Dream Overnight Glow Mask, 15 ml - Estimated Value $12.60

Front of Dallas and James Overnight Glow Mask for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

In my bag last month, I received the Watermelon Dream Milk Serum from Dallas and James Skincare Co., and this month, I have the Watermelon Dream Overnight Glow Mask. I was super pumped to see this particular item from the same brand – now I can pair it alongside my serum. Designed as an overnight treatment, this mask pulls double-duty while you sleep. It hydrates, brightens, and smoothes the skin, leaving me with a more refreshed complexion by morning. The texture is lightweight and comfortable, absorbing nicely without feeling heavy on my skin or transferring onto pillows, which is always a bonus for me when it comes to overnight products. I like how moisturizing this glow mask is too, thanks to its star ingredient of watermelon extract. So far, I am loving being able to pair it along with the Milk Serum for a layered, glow-boosting combo, and I’m interested to see if I get even better results while using the duo.

BENEFIT COSMETICS Hoola Original Powder Bronzer, 1.8 g - Estimated Value $8.10

Front of Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

Benefit Cosmetics is another of my tried-and-true brands, and this Hoola Original Powder Bronzer just reminded me that. The formula is incredibly smooth to the touch and finely milled, making it easy to apply and blend seamlessly into the skin without looking patchy or heavy. I also love how buildable it is, remaining soft and natural while layering it up for more definition. That said, the shade blended so effortlessly into my skin that it leaned more like a subtle warming powder or even a soft foundation-setting powder rather than a true bronzer for me. The packaging comes in a cardboard box instead of a traditional compact, which is likely more sustainable and eco-friendly (and normally I’d prefer this), but since this is a face product, I’d rather something a bit more enclosed and durable for everyday use. Overall, though, the performance of this powder is classic Benefit, and I’d highly recommend it if the shade works for you.

E.L.F. COSMETICS Power Grip Matte Primer, 26 ml - Retail Value $11.00

Front of E.L.F. Cosmetics Primer for Ipsy Glam Bag March 2026

Some brands just stick with you, and E.L.F. Cosmetics will always have that special place in my heart… It was one of my first intros to makeup, so I’m always happy to see it pop up in a bag. The Power Grip Matte Primer feels like a modern upgrade to everything I’ve loved about the brand over the years. It’s a water-based formula, which I definitely prefer over oil-based primers, and it gives the skin that slightly tacky grip that helps my makeup stay put throughout the day. At the same time, it delivers a matte finish that helps control shine without making my skin feel dry or tight. I was also thrilled that this came full-sized, which makes it even more of a win. It layers well under foundation and really helps extend wear, making it a reliable base step in any routine. A great balance of performance and nostalgia.

The Verdict

This was a solid month for IPSY Original! I truly appreciated the strong focus on hydration and everyday staples. The Tatcha cleanser was an instant favorite for me: gentle, refreshing, and exactly what I look for in a daily cleanser. I also really enjoyed the Dallas and James Skincare Co. overnight glow mask, especially since it pairs so nicely with last month’s serum, making it feel like a complete, glow-boosting routine. The E.L.F. Cosmetics matte primer was another standout for me, delivering that perfectly tacky base for long-lasting makeup while keeping my shine under control. For more targeted skincare, Feel’s under eye cream offers a dependable, hydrating option that’s gentle enough even for me and my sensitive under-eyes. Lastly, the bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics performed beautifully with a smooth, blendable formula, even though it leaned a bit more like a foundation powder for me. Overall, this month’s bag felt cohesive and practical, with a great mix of skincare and makeup essentials that are easy to incorporate into a daily routine.
