Silk + Sonder February 2026
February is on the horizon, and I’m in shock at how quickly the new year is flying by. January has been a wonderful reset, and I’ve just finished putting away my Christmas decorations, fully embracing a fresh start. With basketball still in full swing and baseball slowly creeping up, I’m in need of all the organizational help I can get. This month, the Silk + Sonder planner has truly been a lifesaver for keeping track of practices, games, and life in general. The beautiful pastel peach journal has been such a blessing—there’s so much to juggle lately, and it’s helped me stay organized and grounded. Honestly, I don’t know how I’d manage all the chaos without it.
Belief: A deeply held condition or trust in something greater, whether it be yourself, others, or the unknown, that guides thoughts, behaviors, and choices.
I love that Silk + Sonder selects a unique theme each month, and I truly appreciate how thoughtfully Meha, the creator, curates them. February’s theme is Belief, and given the current state of our world, I find myself focusing on it more than usual. I really appreciated Meha’s letter this month. While this theme may look a little different for each of us, I’m ready to take February head-on and focus on personal growth as the month unfolds. Read on to see what I discovered!
One of my favorite things about Silk + Sonder is getting a fresh new planner each month. That little monthly reset feels so good—year-long planners always end up overwhelming me. This one does include a year-at-a-glance page, but the boxes are tiny, so I mostly use it just to peek at future dates. At the start of each month, I fill in the calendar with any upcoming events, and before I know it, the days start flying by!
February is busy, with basketball keeping us on the go, but after so many months of this routine, it has become our new normal. While I don’t get practice schedules until the Sunday before, our month actually looks pretty chill. Well… “chill” might be a stretch, but it does help me feel a little more grounded. These days, I try to take things one day at a time, and it’s been helping keep my anxiety more under control. Staying organized also plays a huge role in managing my anxiety, so having a quick-reference calendar right at the front of my planner is a lifesaver. It helps me stay grounded and calm when life gets hectic—especially on days when taking it one day at a time isn’t quite enough.
On page 6, we turn to the “Future Log,” which includes two small calendars for the upcoming months. There’s just enough space to jot down quick notes—and honestly, I’m so focused on the now that I don’t even want to think about March or April - though I am excited for spring!
On the opposite page, there’s a blank spread, which is always a nice touch. I use these pages all the time for lists, numbers, and random bits of info, and I really appreciate that they’re included.
Page 8 offers space to reflect on the previous month, with sections to capture your wins, challenges, and favorite moments. It’s such a helpful way to pause and evaluate what’s working—and what isn’t. This is one of my favorite pages because it reminds me to acknowledge the small accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s also a section to jot down what you want to start, stop, and continue moving forward.
January has been a little crazy, but also pretty relaxing. We had basketball and went snowmobiling, but we also had a weekend completely cancelled due to cold weather! Challenges this month included Charlie catching norovirus, some work stress, and frigid temperatures, but we made it through. My favorite moments included Hank getting bumped up to the 8th-grade basketball team, the kids’ awesome report cards, family time, and going out to eat.
Reflecting on these moments helps ground me. Even when things are hard, life is still full of goodness—and I love that this page encourages me to hold onto that.
Next up is the Monthly Intentions page. I love this section because it gives you space to set meaningful goals and revisit them throughout the month. With six categories and boxes to fill in, there’s plenty of room to jot down your thoughts. It’s not necessarily a to-do list—it’s more about starting the month with intention and reminding yourself what you’d like to focus on. This month, my intentions are pretty simple which is exactly what I need. While the list is short for now, I’m sure I’ll add more as the month goes on. I’m excited to keep checking in and see how far I can go!
As I mentioned earlier, Silk + Sonder is so much more than just a planner—and the trackers on pages 10 and 11 are proof of that. These pages feature a mood tracker and a habit tracker, giving you space to log your daily moods and monitor your habits throughout the month. I find this feature especially helpful for spotting patterns, which is something that really supports me in managing my anxiety. What I love most is how customizable these trackers are—you can focus on exactly what matters to you, all wrapped up in such a beautiful design. Silk + Sonder usually ships about a week and a half before the new month begins, so while I’ve already created my “keys” for each tracker, I haven’t started filling them in just yet. I really do need to continue exercising and yoga though!!!
Page 12 features another tracker—this one for sleep. I don’t usually have trouble in that department, so I tend to skip it. The opposite page, though, is one of my favorites. Page 13 introduces the Gratitude Log, with a line for each day of February to jot down something I’m grateful for. I highly recommend this practice, even if you don’t use this specific planner. Especially during tough times, it’s such a gentle reminder of all the good things in life.
This month’s theme is Belief, and the next few pages invite us to reflect on what that truly means in our own lives. On page 14, there are prompts asking us to consider our core beliefs, identify any we may have outgrown, and explore how we might let go of beliefs we’re ready to release. I found these questions a little deep. While I have a few ideas to jot down, I want to really meditate on them before deciding exactly what to write.
Page 15 offers space to write a letter to your inner believer. I’ve been a little anxious lately and want to clear my head before writing this letter, which is why it’s still blank.
The next activity is another prompt to reframe our beliefs. This page features four sections where you can identify a limiting belief, explore its origin, challenge it, and reframe it. I couldn’t think of one that fit while drinking my morning coffee, so I’ve decided to come back to it daily and reflect.
On the opposite page, there’s a lovely poem titled “Helen Keller” by Langston Hughes. It’s beautifully written and offers a powerful sense of belief.
The next page features a really pretty coloring page that I just haven’t had time to work on. Maybe this coming weekend I’ll take out the gel pens and color those little fat hearts—just in time for Valentine’s Day!
On the opposite page, we’re given a “Belief Jar.” This page asks you to write down one thing you did each day that reflects belief in yourself, no matter how big or small. This is a slightly different activity than we’ve had before, so I’m excited to reflect on it! One of my very favorite things about this journal is watching these jars fill up throughout the month—it’s amazing how much this helps with my mental health.
Every Silk + Sonder journal includes a recipe, and this month’s dish called for ingredients I didn’t have on hand—which is usually the case with these recipes! This month’s recipe is Roasted Veggie and Black Bean Bowls, and while I love the idea, my family needs a meat option. If you happened to try this recipe, please let me know how it turned out! Maybe if it’s that good, I’ll try making it with a meat addition.
On the opposite page is a “Keys of Confidence” card, which gives space to write an affirmation inside each key that reflects something you want to believe about yourself. This can unlock a new mindset, courage, worthiness, joy, or strength! Plus, it’s just fun to fill in these keys and re-read them throughout the month.
Blank sheets are always helpful and a great place to do some long division, write notes, and jot down addresses!
Each month, we get some kind of mind puzzle, and this time it was a maze - and it was harder than I thought it would be! It also includes a riddle, which I found an answer that makes sense to me, but I'm not sure that it's right.
On the opposite page is an expense tracker. While it’s a great feature, I don’t personally use it since I track my expenses in a Google Doc instead. As always, this journal is meant to be used in whatever way works best for you!
I love that this journal always starts on a Monday, even if that means beginning in the previous month. This month, started on Monday, January 26th so I got a jump start on the month! When it comes to the journal as a whole, I tend to spend most of my time on these calendar pages. With sections for meal plans, to-dos, habits and activities, shopping lists, and daily schedules, I write everything here. It keeps me on track each day and gives me that satisfying feeling of accomplishment—there’s truly nothing better than crossing an item off my list. I also appreciate the extra touches these pages include. While I don’t always fill out how I want to feel each week, this week I found it really helpful to write it down and pray over it. This journal is just so darn helpful!
Tidying up with one last quote, the dictionary definition of "sonder," and the back cover, that's all there is to it. I have come to find that a key part of my day is when I sit and fill out my planner with my cup of coffee. This quiet time happens before the kids are awake, and kicks my day off to a good start before I start my school day. It is extremely important for me to keep a consistent schedule for managing my anxiety and creating much more positive life, and this journal definitely is a big help in that.
The Verdict
I have to say, I really enjoyed February's theme of Belief, because I needed to remind myself of what's really important lately. Silk + Sonder has been a huge support through both the good times and the bad. It truly has become an absolute necessity! Without this planner, I’d definitely be lost (and so would my husband!). I continue to be impressed with this subscription and can’t wait to see what March has in store.
I typically tend to allocate about 15-20 minutes a day to this journal and flip from front to back reflecting, adding to, and processing what I have previously written. By the end of the month, my brain feels much more organized and stable. The beauty of this planner is remarkable, and the packable size means I can tote it around in my purse. Being extremely impressed with all aspects, I am really looking forward to discovering more about myself, all while staying organized and offering myself a little daily quiet time and important self-care.
