First Impressions
This month’s box came with a really great variety of items, from skincare to fragrance to several makeup products. I was particularly excited about the new member gifts (a YSL lip product and a Tatcha moisturizer I’ve been wanting to try), but the Charlotte Tilbury highlighter, Half Magic eye crayon, and the thick moisturizer from Kat Burki all also caught my eye this month.
What's Inside the November 2025 Allure Beauty Box
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand, 12 mL (full-size), Retail Value: $42
I love the look of glowy skin, so I couldn’t wait to try out this stunning liquid highlighting wand from Charlotte Tilbury. For the Allure Beauty Box, this product is available in three shades: Pillow Talk Original, Spotlight, or Pinkgasm. I received the shade Spotlight, which was a really pretty champagne color. The sponge applicator was comfortable to use and added a pretty, natural-looking highlight to my cheeks, and I know this will be a staple in my makeup bag from now on.
Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream, 1 ounce (full-size), Retail Value: $80
I have very dry skin, and with cooler temperatures hitting, I’ve been looking for a thicker moisturizer to keep my face from flaking through winter. I couldn’t wait to try this Kat Burki face cream, which has a really fresh, spa-like scent and a thick, creamy texture in the jar. My skin drank this up — it absorbed quickly and left my face feeling soft and smooth, not sticky or greasy. I like it a lot, but I do have one thicker moisturizer that I love a bit more (and that costs less), so for now, this is a backup. Still, I’m happy I was able to try it with this month's box.
Half Magic Sparklestik, 0.04 ounces (full-size), Retail Value: $25
I’ll admit I’m a sucker for sparkly, glittery makeup, even if I tend to wear more natural looks. I’ve tried a few Half Magic products before, with varying degrees of success, but I had high hopes for this sparkly eye crayon, which I received in the shade Noir or Never. This is a glittery, smoky black shade that looked so beautiful in the container.
I gently pressed the tip of the crayon to my eyelid, and it immediately broke off. I barely applied pressure, so that was disappointing. Then, I struggled to get the crayon to swipe the color evenly on my eyelids. One eyelid was really dark, and the other had barely any color, despite using the same techniques. After cleaning my face and trying again, the eyeshadow was still uneven and patchy. I’ll have to try using some brushes with this product to see if that helps. It’s so pretty that I don’t want to give up on it, but it’s not as easy to use as I had hoped.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, 75 mL, Retail Value: $12

This isn’t a new product to me; in fact, I love stocking up on the mini L’Occitane Almond Shower Oils to take with me for travel. This oil cleanser feels like such a little luxury when you’re on the road. I don’t usually use it at home, as I have a Lush body wash that I prefer for daily use, but I was happy to get a larger travel-size (instead of the minis) of this cleanser. Tip: The nutty, floral scent of the almond shower oil pairs really nicely with the scent of Trader Joe’s lemon-scented body wash (Refresh Citrus Body Wash).
Luseta Biotin & Collagen Hair Mask, 100 mL, Retail Value: $36 for 500 mL
This month’s box included a hair mask, designed for strengthening and thickening thin, dry hair. My hair isn’t super dry and is really thick, but I gave the hair mask a try anyway. The scent is pleasant, almost fruity, and the best I can describe the texture is goopy. I think it’d be better as a pump, because scooping it out of the jar was tricky without spilling it. I didn’t notice any difference in how my hair looked compared to using my usual shampoo and conditioner, but I’ll keep using this until the jar is empty and see if regular use makes any difference.
Sephora Collection Big By Definition Defining and Volumizing Mascara, 0.06 ounces, Retail Value: $15 for 0.34 ounces
While I have my favorites for blushes, eyeliners, and many other beauty products, mascara is one that I have struggled to find my holy grail. I liked the brush type of this Sephora mascara, and it gave my lashes good length and volume without looking too clumpy or spidery. It was also easy to remove with an oil cleanser. I don’t think it’s quite holy grail status, but it’ll hold me over for a while until I’m ready to test some other brands.
Noteworthy Scents N,307 Sunlit Grove, 1.5 mL, Retail Value: $139 for 100 mL
I shared in last month’s review that I’ve recently taken a huge interest in fragrance, so it was exciting to see another scent after receiving two in my October box. This is definitely a scent better suited to summer; it has a very juicy, fresh mandarin orange scent with just very subtle hints from the basil and sandalwood. It’s so bright and refreshing that I’ll be saving it for summer, although I may use it sparingly layered with some vanilla or woodsy scents for winter.
Liquid IV Sugar-Free Hydration Multiplier Electrolyte Drink Mix, 3-Pack, Retail Value: $27.99 for 16-Pack
I wasn’t expecting any beverage items, but the Liquid IV sampler was a nice bonus. I started running regularly in early 2025 and my runs are getting longer now, so having an electrolyte drink mix was a surprising but very welcome addition to this box. I particularly loved the white peach flavor; it was sweet but not too sweet and tasted so refreshing after a Saturday morning run.
New Member Gift: YSL Loveshine Candy Glaze, 0.11 ounces (full-size), Retail Value: $43
While there are many products in the main box that I liked this month, the new member gifts were the real stars for me. New members get not one, but two gifts, including this gorgeous YSL Loveshine Candy Glaze lip gloss stick. I received the shade Showcasing Nude, and I am truly obsessed. It’s such a pretty, neutral tone, and the lip gloss isn’t sticky. Instead, it felt really silky and moisturizing. This lip gloss works really well for my every day makeup looks, and I also wore it on a date and felt pretty and confident. I now keep this in my purse and will definitely buy more for myself and as gifts.
New Member Gift: Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream, 10 mL, Retail Value: $72 for 50 mL
Last month, I bought a couple of travel-sized Tatcha face washes after reading great things about the brand. My skin has been loving both the Rice Wash and the Matcha Cleanse, so I’ve had the brand’s Dewy Skin Cream on my wish list. I was so excited to see a sample of it in my November Allure Beauty Box, and unfortunately for my wallet, it lives up to the hype. I actually liked this moisturizer more than the other one included in this month’s box. The smell of the Dewy Skin Cream is nice (although I do like the scent of the Kat Burki moisturizer more), but the performance is amazing. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated and gave me a natural glow without feeling thick or sticky. Once I run out of my current moisturizer, I’ll probably replace it with a full size of the Dewy Skin Cream.

Key Takeaways

I thought the November box was my best box yet, especially with the new member items. The YSL Loveshine Candy Glaze, Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand were instant favorites, and I already know and love the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. I also appreciated the Noteworthy Scents N,307 Sunlit Grove, although I’m saving it for warmer weather, and the unexpected Liquid IV sampler was a nice bonus. Overall, I was really happy with the November 2025 box (and I think it’d be a great gift for the holidays!).
