Medusa's Make-Up Beauty Box is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup subscription box from the popular indie brand of the same name. Each month you'll receive a box of 3-5 vegan beauty products for just $25.95 with free shipping, with a total value of around $40. The shades and colors are always unique and the packaging is super fun!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The November 2025 Box

As a long-time beauty enthusiast and subscription box reviewer, I've tried just about every make-up box out there. Medusa’s Make-Up, though, has steadily carved out a special spot in my rotation. When I first got the chance to review one of their boxes, I was curious, and now, several months (and many fun looks) later, I’m fully hooked. Each delivery brings something bold, cruelty-free, and totally unique. So, what’s inside November's box? Let’s dive in and see what this month has to offer!

Wrapped in a beautiful pink foil mailer, it was love at first sight! I was so excited to find this in my mailbox—I actually jumped for joy. This month, my products arrived safely, carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. Everything was securely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

Now, let’s dig in and see what I received!

Kicking things off, we have an info card that lists everything included in the box, along with the retail values. There isn’t a specific theme this month, but since pink is my favorite color, I really appreciate the pretty lipstick smears! Let’s check it out, shall we?

Mystical Eye Dust - Bubo - Retail Value $14.00

Honestly, I thought November would include some copper or deeper autumn-toned makeup, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a pan of cruelty-free and vegan purple mystical eye dust. This product has a soft, dusty-purple hue that’s nicely buildable and includes a touch of shimmer. While it initially gave me spring vibes, once I paired it with silver and brown shadows in my crease, I really appreciated the pop of color and enjoyed the subtle glitter. I used it both as an eyeshadow and underneath my lashes as a liner, and I know this is a look I’ll be wearing often.

Though it’s hard to see here, there’s a hint of shimmery purple under my waterline, along with the white frost eyeliner. I love this curation!

Halo Glow - Beach Bunny - Listed Value $14.00

Heading into winter, I’m definitely transitioning from a medium tan to a lighter skin tone. I’ve been missing my summertime glow, so I was happy to receive this Halo Glow “Beach Bunny” face stick. You may have noticed that the card noted it as "Beach Bum", but I couldn't find that color on the website and the tube itself said "Beach Bunny" so that is the color I'll review. Though it has a slightly waxy scent, it applies easily and blends beautifully to create a natural-looking tan. As you can see from the photo, it’s quite vibrant when applied heavily, so a light hand is best. I was also impressed with its staying power—it lasted all day!

I applied this to my upper cheek for a little contour and enjoyed the results!

Eyeliner - Frost – Listed Value $9.00

The next item I received was an eyeliner. While I love black eyeliner, I don’t typically use white. This frosty shade has a hint of shimmer and did a nice job brightening my waterline and adding a subtle highlight to my eyes. With decent staying power, it turned out to be a useful product I wouldn’t have purchased for myself—but I really enjoyed the results.

Tinted Lip Balm - Social - Listed Value $12.00

While I really love lipstick, it can be hard to wear all day at school, so I usually opt for a lip balm or gloss instead. Since I’d hate to walk around with color on my teeth, I tend to stick to shimmery clear options—but I was excited to try this pretty pink version. It applies easily and comes in the cutest star-adorned tube. The shade was brighter than I expected, and though it feels a bit more suited to spring, it’s still easy to wear for a natural look.

Adding a soft pink hue to my lips, this balm created a smooth, silky feel and kept them from getting chapped—all while adding a touch of color.

Sponge - Listed Value $6.00

The last item I received was a black makeup sponge. Honestly, I usually apply my makeup with my fingers and a few brushes, so this wasn’t something I really needed. Still, it’ll make a great addition to my Christmas dice game pile—and I’m thinking my niece might be interested in it!

A great little curation, this month’s items complemented each other nicely and created a lovely look.

The Verdict

This month’s curation from Medusa’s Make-Up was a little bright for autumn, but did coordinate well and offered a great mix of products. Overall, I really enjoyed everything—except for the sponge, which will still make a great dice game prize, so it worked out anyway! Of all the items I received, the mystical eye dust and halo glow face stick were my favorites, but I’ll definitely be using the other products too. What did you think of this month’s curation? What was your favorite item? Let me know in the comments below!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You'll likely receive the December box. Some past boxes are also available for a one-time purchase here.

Value Breakdown: I estimate I received $55.00 worth of items this month with these five items. This is more than double the cost of the box! That's definitely a good value for $25.95!
