INK+ALLOY is a female-founded accessory brand with a mission to empower women through every day, modern pieces that make a bold statement. Their accessories are all designed in Atlanta, and made both in Atlanta and by artisans in India. Their seed bead earrings are hand-woven and their Insider Club sends one surprise pair of earrings per month for $25/month. That's 25-30% savings + free shipping!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Opening The Box

INK+ALLOY subscribers can look forward to receiving earrings arriving in a small white box. Inside, the earrings of the month are packaged in a simple, low-waste way.

Our delivery doesn't always come with informational materials, but this month we were sent a tiny, square card offering a little intro to INK+ALLOY, as well as a festive card with a Fall List on one side and a corn bread recipe on the other side. Cute!

Here's What's Inside

Frida Layered Angles Beaded Earrings Rust + Lapis — Retail Value $42

Every pair of earrings that arrives through my INK+ALLOY subscription is always scrutinized through the lens of the season we're in. It's hard to help! I think if this pair were to have arrived in the heat of summer, they would have felt very desert-y, but here in autumn, the richer colors are standing out to me—the rust, the chocolate brown, and the eye-catching pop of cobalt blue. I wear a ton of olive green, and these hues fit into that earthy palette perfectly without being too matchy.

The beads really sparkle, and the creamy sections throughout make the pair pop against dark hair. This pair worked well with the T-shirt I happened to be wearing the day my box arrived, and I'm already scheming up ways to build them into a more detailed outfit.

We were sent Fridas in June (see here), but the pattern and colors are so different that they almost seem like a completely new design. These ones are much more my vibe.

The Verdict

While this pair from INK+ALLOY is a similar design to ones we were sent this summer, their pattern is different enough that they serve a different purpose in my collection of earrings. I love the shades of neutrals and zap of color in this pair, and will look forward to styling them to warm up fall and winter looks.
