While I'm firmly in the "you can never have enough beaded fringe earrings" camp, I'm also excited to see something a little different come through the INK+ALLOY subscription. This pair was handmade by artisans in India using sparkling seed beads in a gradient of warm to cool tones.
You know, when I first laid eyes on this pair the color combo felt a little too familiar—I've received two other earring designs (plus a bonus bracelet) with this scheme over the years, and ended up passing them all along to someone else because they felt too cool-toned for me. Anyone curious can see them here and here. I had associated them with cold weather, maybe because the others came in winter and fall. But when I popped them on and walked into the sunshine, I changed my tune. Their hues are actually pretty peaceful and they pop in the sun. This might just be the design that makes these colors work for me! What do you think?
