CatLadyBox is a monthly subscription box for cat lovers—especially cat ladies or anyone crazy about cats! The CatLadyBox costs $35.99 per month and includes 2–3 cat-themed items such as wearables, home décor, books, and more. For $39.99 per month, the Crazy CatLadyBox includes everything in the regular CatLadyBox plus a few fun goodies just for your cat. Another option from Cat Lady is the Spoiled Cats Club, a subscription box designed specifically for cats. Priced at $18.99 per month, it includes three toys packed with "the stinkiest" certified catnip. You can also add a treat for an additional $4.00. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple months at once.

This is a review of the Spoiled Cats Club.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 37 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the Spoiled Cats Club arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 17 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!

Although I love most animals, cats have a special place in my heart! I have just one precious feline, and I was excited to see how she’d react to a slew of new toys and treats. Packaged in a plastic mailer, everything arrived in pristine condition—ready to be batted around!

Along with the items, the box also includes an info sheet that clearly states the package is to be delivered to the spoiled cat immediately—and that it is NOT for human kicks and purrs. Cutesy in design, the card also describes each included toy and lists its retail value. I definitely appreciated this month’s "Food Fight Pack" theme—it totally cracked me up!

The Breakdown – What’s Inside Spoiled Cats Club

Lunch Lady Lucy Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99

The first toy Miley received was lunch-lady themed—a little catnip-stuffed toy featuring the cutest grey-haired woman who looks like she’d never be crabby! Complete with a hairnet and a cute apron, it was a hit. Charlie enjoyed tossing it around for Miley. While she's getting older, Miley still did a bit of chasing—though she did a lot more sniffing. Catnip tends to make her sleepy, so shortly after playing, she curled up for a nap.

Action shots are hard to capture, but here is my little doll with her little lunch lady. She was quite intrigued that the boys were actually playing with her!

Tater Tot Toss Wand Toy - Listed Value $5.99

Wand toys are definitely Miley’s favorite, but I think my son Charlie enjoyed this one even more. He loved zinging the Tater Tot Toss wand across the living room and watching Miley take off after it. Featuring feathers and three fluffy poms, it’s attached to a stretchy cord that helps it zip quickly across the floor.

Here’s little Miley chasing the wand! Charlie was obsessively tossing it for her—while she played a few rounds, he kept going and ended up having even more fun with it by himself. Hey, whatever works, right?

Mad Meatloaf Catnip Toy - Retail Value $5.99

The last toy I received was definitely the best—it was a slice of “Mad Meatloaf.” With a flaming orange, fluffy “sauce” on top of its angry little head, it had a fun texture that felt nice in my hands. It’s a larger toy, which spooked Miley a bit at first, but she gave the fuzzy parts a few curious sniffs. Charlie, on the other hand, used it more as a prop while telling Miley stories—though she seemed a bit unimpressed by the performance.

Oh, Miley—your expression perfectly matches the toy’s face! She’s just so cute! 🤣

Loving Pets Flavor Fullz Filled Treats For Cats - Retail Value $5.99

This month, I also received the treat option. The bag contained a generous 3 ounces and was packed full—Miley really appreciated the addition! Square-shaped with a soft tuna-flavored center, she gobbled these treats up in no time and was soon begging for more.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $18.99 per month (with a 6-month plan)+ free US shipping. Month-to-month cost is $22.99.

Value Breakdown:

  • Lunch Lady Toy: $5.99
  • Tater Tot Wand: $5.99
  • Mad Meatloaf Toy: $5.99
  • Treats: $3.99

While the toys in this box are bespoke to the subscription, I was able to find a store to purchase the treats. Between the listed values and online values, the value of this box adds up to $21.96. This is only a slight bit higher than the six month savings, but you do receive themed toys you cannot find elsewhere.

Key Takeaways

Cats are my absolute favorite animal (especially when my dogs are being extra naughty), and I love spoiling little old Miley anyway that I can. This was our first go around with this subscription, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much Miley interacted with the toys, especially the wand version, and how much she loved the treats. The food fight theme was extra cute, and my kids loved tossing these around to each other and the cat. Overall I was impressed, though I'd like to see a little more value in future months.
