Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. For $14 per month, you get five full-sized or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag.
This is one of our top recommendations if you are looking for a subscription box — the value and sample sizes are amazing. Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month — so this review is for just one of the bag variations you might receive!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).
First Impressions
One of my favorite things about the Ipsy Glam Bag is the excitement of discovering each month’s new design. I’ve been a subscriber for years, and the fun, creative styles—along with the amazing products—keep me coming back for more. To celebrate the arrival of September, we received a bold, dual-colored bag featuring one bright magenta side and one blue-purple side. It also includes a Kelly green zipper and a gold zipper pull. One especially fun detail this month was the colorful shapes on the zipper pull. Reminiscent of the stick-on gem earrings from my elementary school days, they added a tiny touch of nostalgia—while looking really cool!
Also included is a product card featuring the "More is More" theme, details about this month's bag contents, and a sneak peek at the upcoming sneak peek highlights!
Now, on to the items!
SOPHIA + MABELLE CREAM + Pressed Blush Duo in Strawberry Sorbet - FULL SIZE - Retail Value $22.00
The Sophia + Mabelle Cream + Pressed Blush Duo in Strawberry Sorbet is a must-have for anyone who loves a fresh, radiant look. It features a silky powder blush for a soft-focus finish and a smooth cream blush for a natural, dewy glow. The perfectly paired shades can be worn alone or layered for a multidimensional effect. This duo adds a reminiscent summer glow that's perfect for these recent warm fall days. The formula is buildable, blends beautifully, and works well on all skin types. Its compact size makes it easy to take on the go, making it a versatile and reliable favorite.
KORRES Black Pine Bounce Firming Moisturizer - Travel Size - Estimated Value $29.00
I’m a total moisturizer lover, so this one immediately caught my eye—and it definitely felt like something special. I’ve tried Korres before and knew it was on the pricier side, so getting this $29 travel-size tube felt like a mini skincare win. The light scent is lovely, and the texture is smooth, not greasy or sticky at all. It layered perfectly under my makeup and left my skin looking fresh and glowing. Honestly, it’s a bit of a splurge, but that’s what made it feel like such a treat. I probably wouldn’t buy it full price, but I’m so glad I got to enjoy it!
TYS Beauty 02 Highlighter Brush - FULL SIZE - Retail Value $22.00
The TYS Beauty 02 Highlighter Brush may be small, but it's seriously versatile and perfect for both blush and highlighter. Its precise shape makes it easy to target all the right spots without overdoing it. The ultra-soft bristles feel amazing and give a smooth, buildable glow. Plus, it looks super cute in my makeup bag! I typically don't enjoy brushes, but the size of this one is exactly what I use, and I am definitely in need of an upgrade, which was perfect.
BLINC Eye Repair Peptide Complex - Deluxe Sample - Estimated Value $12.66
The BLINC Eye Repair Peptide Complex comes in a tiny tube, but don’t let that fool you—it really delivers. I was thrilled to get it through Ipsy since it’s definitely on the pricier side. With late nights from work and football, my eyes needed serious help, and this cream came through. Packed with peptides, caffeine, and hyaluronic acid, it tackles puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines all at once. It’s like a mini energy boost for tired eyes, even when sleep is lacking. Thanks sports! 🤣
MUDMASKY Pearl Polish Superglow Pink Clay Mask - Deluxe Sample - Estimated Value $9.00
The last item I received was a deluxe sample of the MUDMASKY Pearl Polish Superglow Pink Clay Mask. This mask has the loveliest pastel pink shade and works to gently buff away dead skin with plant-oil pearls and fruit extracts, while the clay helps draw out pore-clogging buildup. To use it, you apply a thin layer and watch as the pink hue lightens to white—then simply rinse it off. My skin has been extra oily lately, and this seemed to help bring it back into balance. After just one use, I noticed a difference and am looking forward to seeing the longer-term benefits it offers.
I just love new beauty and skincare products!!
