PinkSeoul Plus Box Review July/August 2025

One great balm, one sad sunscreen, and a lot of in-between.

I was actually excited to see what PinkSeoul had in store this round. K-beauty usually saves me when everything else fails. But this month’s box? Let’s just say… we had a complicated relationship. There were a few solid gems (looking at you, rom&nd balm), but most of it felt a little too safe and forgettable. Here’s the honest rundown.

PinkSeoul Plus is a bi-monthly Korean beauty subscription box curated to your skin type. It focuses on full-sized, customized products designed to guide you through your K-beauty journey of discovery. You can also shop their online store for even more K-beauty goodies.

PinkSeoul offers two box types:

  • The PinkSeoul Box is $39.95 every two months, with a retail value of $60+
  • The PinkSeoul Plus Box is $49.95 every two months, recommended for ages 35+, and has a value of $80+

Each box includes at least 4 full-size products + one accessory, shipped every other month.

This review is for the Combination Skin Type PinkSeoul Plus Box.

First Impressions

Still amazed how much they fit in this little box. Everything arrived safe and secure.

What’s Inside

Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Cream – $22.90

I already had a bottle of this, and yeah… still not into it. It’s a gel-cream, but somehow feels thick? My skin just doesn’t absorb it well; it kind of just sits there. I’ve started using it on my elbows and heels instead. If you have super dry skin, you might enjoy it. But for me? Pass.

Enough Collagen 3X Moisture Mist – $9

This is basically a collagen-infused version of thermal water. Not life-changing, but definitely refreshing. I’ve been keeping it in the fridge and giving myself a little wake-up spritz in the morning. No heavy scent, no sticky residue, and I might bring it to my next beach getaway too.

rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm – $9.79

FINALLY, a win. I’m a rom&nd fan through and through, and this balm just reaffirmed my loyalty. The shade is perfection (05 Nougat Sand). Soft, natural, glossy, but not sticky. Smells fruity in that very Korean-lip-product way. I’m already eyeing more shades. Easily my fave item in the box.

And while this is definitely a melting formula (it glides on like butter), I love that it didn’t totally collapse on me like similar balms I’ve tried before (looking at you, Makeup by Mario). This one actually holds its shape, even in Florida's heat. Big fan.

Mizon Cicaluronic Non-Nano Sunblock – $12.07

I wanted to love this. I really did. But the white cast? The zinc smell? The thick texture? Heartbreaking. I usually love Mizon, but this one’s a no from me. If you like hybrid sunscreens and don’t mind that traditional SPF scent, maybe you'll get along better with it.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Watery Gel – $7.90

Always good to have aloe around. This one’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave that sticky post-aloe residue. I used it after a long beach day and my skin felt immediately soothed. It’s simple, but useful.

Elizavecca Aqua Deep Power Ringer Mask – $1.79

Would it be a K-beauty box without an Elizavecca sheet mask? This one’s all about hydration. It’s soaked in essence (like, dripping), so squeeze out every last drop.

Nature Republic Brightening Fresh Gel Mask – $2.90

At nearly $3, this is one of the more “luxurious” single-use masks I’ve gotten in a while. Good news: it fits well, stretches nicely, and feels juicy. I make a few tiny cuts to adjust the fit, but overall, a solid mask that doesn’t slide around or dry out too fast.

Lindsay Calming Herb Modeling Mask Cup Pack – $2.89

If you’ve read my past reviews, you already know: these are not my vibe. Messy, time-consuming, and generally more annoying than pampering. That said, I gave it a shot. The scent wasn’t as earthy as I feared, and my skin did feel calmer after. Still, wouldn’t repurchase.

The Verdict

Cost: $49.95 (every two months)
Retail Value: $69.24
Deal: Save 10% with code MSA10

Let’s be real: the value is there. But the excitement? Not so much. Aside from the rom&nd balm (which I genuinely love), the rest felt... fine. Nothing super new. Nothing that made me text a friend in all caps. It’s a practical box, not a thrilling one. And honestly, I expect just a little more thrill from K-beauty. Sue me.

Would I use most of the items? Yes.

Would I remember this box in three months? Unlikely.

Would I subscribe just to get that lip balm? Kinda tempted.

Just FYI

Can I still get this exact box? Nope. New subscribers will get the PinkSeoul Plus Welcome Box (valued at $100+).

Shipping: Your first box ships within 5 business days. After that, boxes go out around the 25th every other month.
