This month’s BomiBox set out with a bold promise: glass skin made easy. The theme, “Glass Glow,” teased a lineup of gentle yet dewy-finish staples curated for summer skin that stays hydrated, not greasy. So naturally, I was intrigued. Because if there’s one thing I chase (besides SPF that doesn’t pill), it’s that light-bouncing glow. Let’s see if the box lived up to that vision.

What’s Inside:
Jumiso Snail Mucin 88 + Peptide Cream (30ml) – Retail Value: $10
Jumiso is one of those brands I trust for barrier care, so I was curious about this one. The formula is rich, almost occlusive, with that signature snail mucin viscosity that some love and others…tolerate. I fall somewhere in the middle.
Personally, I’d prefer a lighter peptide delivery system for summer, especially since my skin leans combination. But I did find this comforting when my skin was feeling a bit parched or when my barrier was a bit angry at me. I’d slot this in as a night cream for dry skin days, not an everyday go-to.
Round Lab Renewal Birch Juice Hand Cream (30ml) – Retail Value: $9
A classic, creamy hand cream that delivers on softness without that sticky finish. The birch juice gives it a slightly cool, watery scent. Not revolutionary, but lovely to keep in your bag. If you’re someone who uses hand cream after every wash (same), this one is a solid pick.
Heimish (Mini) All Clean Balm Mandarin 5 ml – Retail Value: $6

I’ve been loyal to the original unscented version of this balm for years, but I didn’t mind this mini Mandarin twist. The scent is faint and doesn’t linger, which I appreciate. This was my gateway cleansing balm back in the day, and I still keep one in rotation. It melts down mascara and SPF layers effortlessly without clogging my pores. I will say, 5ml feels more like a tester sachet than a deluxe mini, but it’s still welcome in my travel kit.
Be The Skin VITAVITA Raspberry PDRN Toner Pads (60 pads) – Retail Value: $20
These toner pads feel very of-the-moment (we’ve definitely entered our toner pad era again). The shape is smart with cut-outs that make application feel intuitive. But the scent threw me off. It leans a bit fruity body mist circa 2010, which isn’t my thing. I also wouldn’t rely on the PDRN label too much here; the concentration is nominal. These are more mild exfoliating pads than anything glass-skin-inducing, so don’t expect miracles. I’ll probably keep using them, but I won’t repurchase.
Be The Skin Pore Reset Glass Skin Cleansing Oil (150ml) – Retail Value: $19.98
This was the standout. A proper cleansing oil that emulsifies like a dream, thick enough to feel satisfying on the skin, but not so heavy it clogs anything—no milky eye vision. I’ve used it for about a week now, and my skin genuinely feels smoother and more balanced. Will absolutely repurchase.
Etude 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Tea Tree (20ml) – Retail Value: $3.70

I’ve used these Etude masks for years, and while they aren’t groundbreaking, they’re comfortingly consistent. I keep mine in the fridge and use them on hot evenings when my skin feels inflamed. The tea tree version is slightly clarifying, but gentle. The sheet is very thin and adheres like second skin, which makes it wearable while multitasking. Not a holy grail, but always appreciated.
Etude 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Manuka Honey – Retail Value: $3.70
Now this one I loved. The essence here feels more like a serum, hydrating, slightly sticky in that “this is actually going to do something” way. My skin felt genuinely plumped after 20 minutes. No tackiness left behind either, just soft, moisturized skin. If you’re sheet-masking as skin prep before makeup, this is one to reach for.
Was this Box Worth It?
The Cost: $39.99
Total Value: $72.38
I have to be honest, this box was a bit of a letdown. Not because the products were bad, but because the theme felt like a mismatch. Glass skin is about layering hydration, yes, but also glow-enhancing actives, skin-refining toners, maybe a bit of niacinamide or fermented ingredients. This curation felt more like “hydration lite” with a side of basics. The hand cream, for example, while lovely, didn’t feel on-theme.
That said, the cleansing oil alone made this box feel worthwhile to me. Everything else falls somewhere between decent and useful, but nothing that felt like a “wow” discovery. I would’ve loved to see one more heavy hitter, a glow serum, perhaps, or even a full-size ampoule that pushes into that dewy, almost wet finish that defines true glass skin.
This wasn’t my favorite box from BomiBox. But it wasn’t a total miss either. If you’re just starting your K-beauty journey and want gentle, functional products to build a routine, this might’ve hit the right note. But if you’re someone who already has a 7-step routine lined up like a lineup on Music Bank, this box might’ve felt more like filler than feature.
