What's Inside The Box
NOVICA took me on a trip to Bali this quarter, and I received a mix of home decor items made in Indonesia. Let's see what was inside my box!
Handcrafted Bamboo and Glass Wind Chime in Rainbow Hues, "Summer Blast" by
by Sindhu Nata (Retail Value: $81.95)
What a gorgeous item to start this unboxing with! The leaf-shaped, rainbow-palette glass pieces really popped in natural lighting and created a cheerful atmosphere. This might be my favorite item I've ever received from NOVICA due to its simple elegance and the fact that I can use it year-round.
Handcrafted Sandalwood and Jasmine Incense Set, "Scents of the Tropics" by Dewa Putra (Retail Value: $42.95)
For all the years I've been alive, this was my first time owning an incense set. So, as you can imagine, I was excited to try it out! Historically, I've used diffusers, so I was long overdue for a change in ambiance.
This set came with a glazed green decorative ceramic holder, sandalwood incense sticks, jasmine incense sticks, and sandalwood cones. While I think I slightly lean toward jasmine as my preferred scent, both created a warm and calming atmosphere.
Adjustable Unity Bracelet, "Golden Hands" by Henry Anthony Sanny (Retail Value: $53.95 each)
This adjustable blue cord bracelet features brass hands clasping a blue agate orb and a sliding brass closure. This item represents friendship and sharing the weight of the world with one another. Though not typically the style of jewelry I wear, I loved this item's brilliant blue color and fine details.
Fair Trade Handmade Wooden Pub Style Puzzle, "Omed-Omedan" by Widanti (Retail Value: $33.95)
What a neat puzzle! The goal of the game was to separate the wooden pieces from the cords. Its design represents the push and pull of positive and negative elements.
Handmade Clover Patterned Midnight Blue Pule Wood Catchall, "Nocturnal Clover" by Retno Pratiwi (Retail Value: $36.95)
The gorgeous patterns of this catchall were made to invite Java's spirit of good fortune to your home. It combines traditional elements of leafy and floral patterns with a deep midnight blue hue. No matter where I end up placing this in my home, I know it will elevate the atmosphere.
Value
The retail value of the combined items is $249.75. Considering that you only pay $59.99 per box, this is an insane deal. And, of course, the value that I got from having someone curate household items for me is priceless.
The Verdict
I loved the versatility of this quarter's box! Hands down, my favorite item was "Summer Blast" by
Sindhu Nata. It's just one of those home decor items that can be used no matter the season and brings cheer to your day. I also really enjoyed using "Scents of the Tropics" by Dewa Putra and "Nocturnal Clover" by Retno Pratiwi.
