First Impressions
I absolutely adore felines! In my 35 (almost 36) years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 14 (almost 15) year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
While I do love dogs - I hate dog kisses/slobber, so cats are where it's at for me! And though I only have one precious feline, I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this brown cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also comes with an info sheet, featuring custom artwork on the opposing side. This month's art was created by Jamie Shelman and features a cartoon design is that of a sleeping gal and her two best cuddle buddies. My son chuckled at this design because the grey fur baby looked eerily similar to my mom's cat! I have to say, I enjoy this inclusion because though it is really just a content card, the artwork is great for adding to your fridge or bulletin board as an extra pop of color and fun!
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Crazy Cat Lady Box
Cat Mom Shirt - Listed Value $22.99
I love comfy tee shirts, and I think this just might be the softest shirt I now own. Light weight, airy, and with a cute design, this minty green shirt features the logo "Cat Mom 2024" in varsity style letters. A color I don't own nearly enough of, I found this hue and style perfect for spring. Cute styled with cut offs, shorts, and jeans, this really shows how proud of your fur babies you are! (It also makes for an extra cuddly pajama shirt, if that's your thing too.) The clothing items in the subscription box are unisex, and I ordered the medium. Like a true medium, this fit well, but was a little long, so I knotted it on the bottom for an extra trendy look. Miley liked to snuggled in the soft fabric as well, and wouldn't get off of my lap, which truly makes this month's shirt a winner!
Cats Sign - Listed Value $14.99
I am all about the home decor, and I love, love, love me some black wrought iron. While this isn't exactly that material, it is a heavy duty black wood, in a cursive font exclaiming "cats". At a width of about 11 inches, this is a small nod to my pretty kitty, without being too big and bold of a statement piece. Cute on my shelf, I really liked the style and am so far extremely happy with this month's curation.
Cat Craze Dish Towel - Listed Value $10.99
The next item we received was this delightful dish towel. With lots and lots of cartoon kitties covering this beaut, I am obsessed with the highlights of red color (my fave). The terry cloth material is perfect for drying hands and dishes, and it adds the best pop of fun to our kitchen! The boys loved this item, and are always choosing this towel when it comes to dish drying time! <--- Who knew a fun towel would make dish time so much more fun?!
"I Love My Cat" Magnet - Listed Value $5.99
Check out this magnet! Debuting the quote: "I ❤️ My Cat", this oval magnet is outdoor safe, in case you want to put it on your car! I am not a bumpersticker/magnet kind of gal, so I added this to the front of our fridge. The simple, yet bold design sticks really well, doesn't curl up on the edges, and is great for holding up pictures and papers.
Happy Hedgie Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
Each month we receive a couple of toys for Miley, and while she doesn't get hyped up on catnip, she does snuggle up with it and rub against it. The first toy we received this month was "Happy Hedgie" and Miley laid right down with it. While it is the perfect shape to throw, she doesn't chase, but I did get her to bat him around a little bit. What a pretty girl!
Meowy Side Up Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
This egg toy yielded similar results to the Hedgehog toy, and that's okay! As you can see, Miley batted this little egg around a bit, and then went on her way. Cute in design, and filled with catnip, a younger cat might appreciate this more than a 14-year-old one, but it's always worth a try!
BONUS EXTRA! Custom Scratcher Insert - Listed Value $7.99
How exciting! For the month of May, CatLadyBox sent us a bonus extra item! Almost exactly the same size as the shipping box, we received a thick, cardboard scratching mat you can place in your box. Miley absolutely loved this insert, and spent over thirty minutes kneading the mat. A great way to recycle your box, this was a really clever inclusion, and I always love a bonus.
With warmer temps finally here, Charlie took Ms. Miley out for a sunshine snuggle before school. Aren't they just the sweetest things?!

Key Takeaways
I am a self proclaimed cat lady, and while I don't have bumper stickers on my car, I do love to show my appreciation for the sweet critters, which is where the CatLadyBox comes in. I've been reviewing this box for several months now, and I have to say, this is one subscription box that I truly look forward to receiving. Every month it feels like Christmas, and I love the high-quality, functional, and fun items. This month's theme was spot on, and I especially loved the t-shirt and dish towel. Miley thought the toys were okay, but went crazy for the scratch insert, and we are already looking forward to June's box. If fun cat-themed items are your jam, and you are looking for a monthly gift to yourself and your feline friend, this subscription is the one for you!
