First Impressions

It's 2024 and self-care is all the rage. While massages, manicures, and spa days sound magnificent, not only will my schedule not allow it, but neither will my bank account. I have instead built in time after the kids go to bed for a long, hot tub soak with the monthly Bath Bevy box. Not only is this easier on the wallet, but it can be scheduled at just about any time! Self-care ✔! This subscriptions is absolutely fabulous, and while my first review was just last month, it has already become one of my favorites. Read below to see what we received in the February box.

Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presented beautifully. Not only did this box have some serious weight to it, but upon opening, debuted bright pink tissue paper, a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches made this truly feel like I was opening a gift, which made it that much more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Bath Bevy "Love is in the Air” February 2024 Review

Strawberry Champagne Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

Valentine's Day is coming up fast, and this month's Bath Bevy has you covered! Focusing on a love theme for this overly romantic month, we received a lot of pink, and I am soo happy about that! The first item I pulled from this beautifully presented box was this palm sized bath bomb. A mix of pink and white, this treat was packaged nicely in a small box with iridescent crinkle paper and plastic for protection. Packed with a strawberry champagne scent, this bath bomb erupted magnificently into a sea of foam and aroma. Creating a light pink color, the Epsom Salt inclusion was very relaxing, and made for an extra soothing bath. One of the most foaming bath bombs I have ever experienced, this was definitely worth the retail value!

Love & Kisses Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

Last month was my first in-person experience with Bath Bevy. While I had read dozens of previous reviews, I was really excited to try it out myself. I loved the Hot Cocoa Scrub they included last time, as did my boys. If you take as many baths as our household does, you will appreciate the size of the containers! This month's whipped soap scrub smelled of fruit and vanilla, and felt incredibly soothing when lightly scrubbed on my skin. Perfect for exfoliating before shaving, or just to rejuvenate skin, this really makes my skin feel softer and more supple. The pink color was spot-on this month, and the fragrance coupled with the skin benefits made it one of my favorite inclusions in the box.

Love Note Fizzy Bath Dust - Retail Value $10

Can one have too much color in a bath tub? I think not!! Just look at this Bath Fizzy Dust - not only is it my favorite hot pink hue, but it explodes into light pink foam! Quick to fizzle out, this was a really fun addition to a boring old tub, and created a relaxing pastel pink hue. Perfect for shallower baths that you don't want to waste an entire bath bomb on, this can be sprinkled in any depth of water for a truly amazing effect. My boys loved the reaction this created in their water and made washing up a lot more fun.

Paramour Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

Hip Hip Hooray for another bath bomb! The same palm size as the previous one, this version was a bit darker pink and smelled of sugared strawberries, pink grapefruit, and soft musk. Also causing a bubble eruption, this bath bomb turned my entire bath tub into a foaming oasis. While the scent throw wasn't quite as impactful as I was expecting, the fruity musk was mellow and relaxing, and an absolutely perfect inclusion for my quiet self-care evening.

Love Spell Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16

While February might be for Valentine's Day, it is also for basketball, and Charlie worked extremely hard at his league tournament this weekend. Because they were mostly 3rd graders playing against 4th grade teams, we were expecting to play two games and head home. Lo and behold our little guys pulled off two wins, adding two more games to our day. Charlie's knees lost a lot of skin, and he was absolutely exhausted, so a nice warm bath was exactly what he needed. Because Epsom salts theoretically help relax muscles and reduce swelling and pain, we dumped some of these light pink salts into his tub for a healing effect. Not only did the mandarin orange, bergamot, tangerine, peach, raspberry, and white musk scent smell divine, but he said that it really did help his aching little body.

Red Velvet Cupcakes Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

The last item we received was a container of Red Velvet Cupcakes Whipped Soap. This soap was a little thicker than last month's whipped soap, but smelled of cake and frosting! Created with coconut oil, this works well for moisturizing skin, especially before shaving. Honestly, I used to absolutely hate shaving my legs, but with decadent scents of fun whipped scrubs and soaps, I find myself wanting to shave, even before needing to! Whoa!

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small business. Bath Bevy will typically sell these products individually on the website, and everything this month added up to $72.

Key Takeaways

This is my second experience with the Bath Bevy box, and I have to say, I am beyond impressed. While the presentation is top notch, the quality of the items, fragrances, and overall curation made it to be one of my favorite subscriptions of all time. My favorite items this month were definitely the two bath bombs, but the soap scrub, whipped soap, bath dust, and Epsom salts definitely were up there too. Bath time is how I wind down and de-stress from the day, so adding these beautifully created artisan bath products help create an ultra relaxing experience and brighten my mood. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing! Bath Bevy also offers a tubless subscription. If you're a fan of artisan bath products, this is a subscription box worth checking out. Everyone deserves a little extra self-care!
