This really feels like something I would have been caught doodling back in high school, and I am really digging the nostalgia. So Susan sends the same style bag every month; they are a cinch to wipe clean, and it is easy to fit a day's look inside for easy-peasy, portable access.

I am blown away by this unexpected gem. Not only are the colors gorgeous, but the payoff is a buttery dream. It is a big palette including four eyeshadows and two highlights. I was impressed by this formula, and I really hope they make more exactly like this. This type of smooth pigment performs best if you use your fingers to apply and then blend the edges with a brush. This yummy mauve shade is a little dark for a highlight, but I really love this metallic hue as an eyeshadow. It is the perfect one-step product to swipe on, creating a dimensional eye look within a few seconds.

So Susan Cosmetics Color Trip Color Pigment in Wild - Retail Value $18

If you're looking for a brilliant pop of color, this will absolutely do the job! I had to get out my glitter glue for this one, but the pigment is totally worth the mess.
Check out that vibrant red! I like to use this product as a pop of color in the middle of the lid over a more neutral base. To avoid excessive fallout, I find it is easiest to pat this pigment on using a fingertip.
Trifle Cosmetics Lip Treacle Gel Stain in Pink Sparkle - Retail Value $25

I was stoked to see this product in this month's bag. Treacle is a hydrating, gel formula that gives glossy color; when the gloss wears off, it leaves behind a faint stain that lingers for a few hours after application. I love this as an easy morning application; I don't have to worry about doing touch-ups because of the flattering stain left behind.
Verdict
January's So Susan Color Curate is a stellar mix of products, some of my favorite to date! I love the mix of buttery pigments, an easy lip product, and an eyeshadow pigment that will turn some heads. This month's bag's retail value comes to $119; you're getting four products and a bag for $20.95, which is a really good deal.
