First Impressions

This time, my box arrived with all the branding and goodies you should expect from BomiBox, so we started with positive tunes right off the bat. This month's theme, "Glow Getters," perfectly encapsulates the selected products' essence. Just glancing over the products, I noticed they're all formulated to not only enhance the skin's natural glow but also nourish and rejuvenate it. Let's delve into these glow-enhancing picks one by one!

What's Inside:

Haruharu Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel (100ml) Retail Value $17.00

You know the struggle with oily combo skin, right? I'm always on the hunt for that perfect cleanser – and guess what? I think I've found it! This Haruharu gem is my latest obsession. It's a gel cleanser with a mildly acidic formula, so it's gentle on my skin while kicking dirt and impurities to the curb. And the best part? It's got a balanced pH of 5.5, is totally non-irritating, and is unscented. My reactive skin is literally breathing a sigh of relief.

Enough Ultra X10 Collagen Pro Marine Ampoule (30ml) Retail Value $15.90

Okay, let's talk about a hidden K-beauty gem – the Enough Ultra X10 Collagen Ampoule. If you're chasing that dream of bouncy, elastic skin, you must try this one. Its texture? Think less traditional liquid, more refreshing, watery gel. It glides on my skin like a dream and gets absorbed faster than I can say "glow up." And it doesn't leave any sticky residue – total win! The only hiccup? The scent. It's... well, it's unique. It reminds me of that sterile hospital vibe, but hey, for the skin magic it works, I'm willing to overlook it.

Hygee All-In-One Mist  (100ml) Retail Value $24.90

Picture this: my desk, a sanctuary for face mists, and this little bottle steals the spotlight. Why? My skin is this tricky combo of oily and acne-prone, and I'm always fighting the urge to mess with it. Enter Hygee Mist. It's like having a secret weapon against oiliness while keeping my skin happily hydrated. It's a skin savior, packed with niacinamide for a brightening boost and bergamot oil to chill out inflammation. The mist itself? Super fine, like a whisper of rain on your face, and totally scent-free. It's like a mini relaxation session with every spritz!

Mary & May (Mini) Vegan Blackberry Complex Cream Essence - 30ml - Retail Value $9.10

Creamy essences aren't usually my thing, but this one? Love at first try. You gotta give it a good shake to mix it into this gorgeous, soft purple potion. It feels like a classic essence but has this extra oomph of a creamy texture. It's like wrapping your skin in a cozy blanket – just what you need when the weather is chilly. Perfect for those days when your skin's screaming for a hydration party.

Haruharu WONDER Honey Green Aqua Bomb Cream (38g) - Retail Value $13.00

This was such an interesting product to test. Here's a cream that feels like a splash of water on your skin. It's got this super light, gel-like thing going on, and the scent? Imagine a subtle whiff of a fresh, luxurious spa. The real stars here are the fermented green tea and honey extract – they make this cream a powerhouse for your skin. Now, it's so lightweight that I'm in a bit of a dilemma – is it a moisturizer? Is it a serum? I'm leaning toward calling it a hybrid. If you're into really light, barely-there kind of moisturizers, especially for those busy mornings, this one's going to be your new go-to.

Elizavecca Deep Power Ringer Mask (2 pcs) - Retail Value $2.40 each

Let's chat about these Elizavecca masks – a sneak peek from their 10-pack set. I tried the Milk and Hyaluronic Acid versions, and wow, they're something else! First off, big props for the high-density cellulose sheets. They cling to your face perfectly, ensuring you get all that goodness directly on your skin. And speaking of goodness, these masks are loaded with it. The Milk mask was my favorite – it gave me this instant, radiant glow that I just can't get enough of. Even better, they're super gentle, so if you've got sensitive skin like me, no worries. I even convinced my hubby to try one, and guess what? He's a fan now!

G9SKIN White In Milk Toner (30ml) - Retail Value $22.60 for 300ml

Alright, let's talk about this G9SKIN Milk Toner that popped up in the box. I was super excited to see this because it's all the rage in Korea right now. And for good reason! Thanks to milk proteins and ceramides, it's known for its brightening superpowers. It's like a glow-up in a bottle. But here's the cool part – it's thicker than your average toner, which I totally adore. It's super versatile too. Need a quick skin refresh? This toner's got you. Want to pamper yourself with an ultra-moisturizing mask? Just soak your skin in this stuff. It's like giving your skin a big, hydrating high-five!

If I could wave a magic wand for the next box, I'd wish for a cream mask. Don't get me wrong, the sheet masks were fab, but imagine rounding out your skincare routine with a lush cream mask right from this box!

In a nutshell, this box is like a beginner's kit to K-beauty glory – it's got the essentials to get you glowing and going! 🌟👌

Once I found rice cleansers and exfoliants, I’ve stuck with them for exactly the reason you described; they’re effective and gentle. My skin is too sensitive for exfoliants that are at all harsher than rice powder or rice blended cleansers.

Looks like a lot of winners in this box!
