First Impressions

This month's box is "The Treatment Box," and it is full of clean beauty products to pamper yourself.

Kinder Beauty has embraced a "choose your own adventure" approach to their subscription; they offer 3 base or "foundation" products, and you can choose one product from each of two categories. Kinder was kind enough to send us each product in both categories so you can get a better look at this month's choices.

The Choices

The first category included a choice of three products. Choose between Avarelle Gunk Out: Spot Tech 100 Patches ($16.99 value), The Nue Co Barrier Culture Cleanser  ($12 value), or Scentuals Grapefruit Turmeric Hand Repair Cream ($10 value).

In the second choice category, you get to choose one of two products including Jane Iredale HydroPure™ Hyaluronic Acid Lip Gloss in Blossom ($28 value) or AllWell Beauty Botanical Radiance Face + Body Mask ($42 value).

My Choices

Avarelle Gunk Out: Spot Tech 100 Patches - Retail Value - $16.99

I can always use blemish patches. Even at 34, my skin turns against me every once in a while. Avarelle makes the thickest patches I've tried, but they stay on really well. I am also used to using plain hydrocolloid patches which usually do the trick, but these also have tea tree oil and cica for extra spot fighting power.

Jane Iredale HydroPure™ Hyaluronic Acid Lip Gloss in Blossom - Retail Value - $28.00

Who could resist a pretty pink gloss? It feels lovely on the lips, in fact, and I don't detect any stickiness whatsoever. Hyaluronic hydrates the lips and makes them look fuller. This product feels more like a treatment for the lips. It doesn't stain at all, but it does leave your lips feeling comfortable and moisturized.

Foundation Products

Each month, Kinder Beauty sends out three base products. This month had some of my favorite picks so far!

Earth Harbor Azure Regenerative Neck Cream - Retail Value - $48.00

Thanks to Kinder Beauty, I've been able to try many Earth Harbor products, and I never met one I didn't like. I never had a cream specifically for my neck, but I definitely see the appeal. It is supposed to firm, lift, and plump the neck and chest skin; I can't attest to any of that yet, but I will say it has made my skin so soft. It is a pleasure to use this cream; the texture is so light, and it smells like you're at a spa.

Jazmine Beauty Brow Boss Styling Wax - Retail Value - $20.00

After years of seeking out products to keep my brows in place, this falls into my lap. I was shook by how well this held my brows in place! I barely scratched the surface with a spoolie and brushed my brows into a nice shape, and they were still standing after a shower. I am thoroughly impressed!

Laruce Brow Groomer - Retail Value - $28.00

Since I am a beauty tool hoarder, this is a very welcome brow groomer. The brush end works great to add color and add shape to the brows, while the spoolie really comes in handy if you're using soap or a brow styler like the product above to brush in the product.

The Verdict

This month's Kinder Beauty Box helped me give my skin the TLC it absolutely needed. I love everything this month had to offer; everything from Earth Harbor's Azure Cream to Avarelle's blemish patches feels luxurious this month. I can't believe I found something to keep my eyebrows under control, plus my lips feel fantastic after using the hyaluronic acid gloss from Jane Iredale.

The element of surprise and experimentation that subscription boxes offer is still there with the three base products everyone receives, but choosing two things has made this subscription even dearer to me. This month’s box variation, including the two products I selected, has a retail value of $140.99, which is a fantastic value for its cost of $27.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
