First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Beach Ready” Tubless July 2023 Review

Caribbean Coconut Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

I love adding a shower steamer to my shower- they're such a treat! These ones smell like creamy coconut milk and are perfect for when I am taking a relaxing shower. They didn't dissolve super fast either, so I got to enjoy the experience for the entirety of my shower.

Mimosa Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

Where the Caribbean steamers had a relaxing scent to them, I would classify these mimosa steamers as being more "refreshing" thanks to the zesty orange scent. They're perfect for those early morning showers where you climb in before you're fully awake, and I think they smell great.

Two Wild Hares Watermelon Margarita Handmade Soap - Estimated Value $10 (similar product linked)

I am a fan of watermelon and I am a fan of margaritas, so this handmade soap was destined to be a winner in my eyes. It really does smell like watermelon with a hint of salt in a way that evokes the fun cocktail, and I love the fun design of the soap bar!

Watermelon Wave Whipped Soap Scrub - Estimated Value $15 (similar product linked)

This whipped soap scrub smells just like juicy watermelon, so of course I am a fan. This has the same whipped soap scrub formula we have come to expect from Bath Bevy, with fluffy whipped soap mixed until it had a bit of air into it with sugar granules throughout for a gentle scrub that never feels abrasive. These are a good quality soap scrub that don't irritate my skin, but it can be hard to finish an entire jar in one month (which is a testament to the quality of Bath Bevy's products, if anything).

Green Daffodil Beach Breeze Soy Candle - Estimated Value $10

I have a newfound appreciation for these candles that are frequently included in the tubless Bath Bevy subscription now that I have a bathroom with a lot more counter space- it allows me to actually light this candle and leave it burning while I bathe without worrying about anything crowding it! This has a yummy sea breeze scent that actually matches the hand soap we just bought, and even though this candle is small it filled the entire master bathroom with its scent once it had been lit for a little while.

Beach Bum Body Lotion - Estimated Value $12 (similar product linked)

This body lotion formula from Bath Bevy is very nourishing- I actually applied too much the first time I used it, and it took a while for my legs to fully absorb it. If you're a fan of tropical scents, you're going to really enjoy the scent blend of acai, coconut, tonka bean, sandalwood, and musk.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small artist. All of the prices for everything add up to $71, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

Even though I love baths and bath bombs, I quite enjoy the Tubless Bath Bevy subscription- even more so in my new bathroom! This month's beach-ready box had all of the tropical vibes I love in summertime- especially the coconut. and watermelon! One thing I like about this box is you can always expect cohesive products that will provide a lovely sensorial experience, whether you use them separately or in a longer pampering session. If you love using artisan bath products but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy Tubless subscription.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

Putting anything on your shower floor is an unsafe practice! When you are rinsing, eyes closed, turning, you could step on a steamer and slip! (SMS, firmer EMT). If you place it in the shower prior to getting in you could forget it is there.

I love that watermelon soap; it’s adorable. Jessica, between the bath and tubless boxes you have enough yummy smelling bath/shower time stuff to last for a while. 🙂 Thanks for reviewing both boxes. They are both very cool and I can imagine the delicious smells from here.
