This month's box is "Mane Magic".
Kinder Beauty recently changed the format of their boxes. They have embraced a "choose your own adventure" approach (yay!), so now Kinder offers 3 base or "foundation" products, and you can choose one product from each of two categories. Kinder was kind enough to send us each product in both categories so you can get a better look at this month's choices.
The first category included a choice of two products. Choose between Evio Beauty Hemp & Peppermint Lip Serum ($16 value) and Ellovi Rose Body Butter ($15 value).
In the second choice category, you get to choose one of three products including Bemakai Tio Detangling Brush ($8.99 value), Daily Concepts Daily Body Loofah ($6 value), or Franklin & Whitman Old City Hair Serum ($24.95 value).
Evio Beauty Hemp & Peppermint Lip Serum - Retail Value - $16.00
I will always pick a "your lips but better" tinted treatment over pretty much any other choice. This product provides enough color to look like you've put some effort into your look. Vitamin F and hemp soothe your lips while peppermint oil gives you a refreshing pick-me-up. This is great for going out to eat because it requires zero maintenance, and if it wears off, it won't leave a mess behind.
Bemakai Tio Detangling Brush - Retail Value - $8.99
We are leaving for vacation, so I chose this brush for its compact size and the promise of gentle detangling. I've always loved this type of brush for my fine hair texture, plus, it feels especially nice on the scalp, giving you a mini exfoliating experience. My son also took a liking to this brush, and earlier today, we each took turns brushing each other's hair. This brush is plastic-free, and it is also biodegradable, yay!
Nourish Mantra Advanced Hair Growth Serum - Retail Value - $65.00
I've seen so many potions dedicated to hair growth and scalp health recently. I love the idea of treating my scalp to benefit my hair, so I plan on going all in on this growth serum. It is used to strengthen hair shafts and thicken your hair, improving the density of your hair while also conditioning your stands and acting as an anti-frizz product. I love that it does not contain minoxidil, which can cause irritation and dryness, and it is cruelty-free and vegan.
100% Pure Watermelon Cucumber Water Locking Mist - Retail Value - $35.00
100% Pure and I get on so well, I am always thrilled to try something new from them. I've been searching for a new setting spray to refresh throughout the day and ease any dry patches that may occur, but shockingly, it is a hard ask. I tried this one after a few hours of wearing my matte foundation, and it left my face a little fresher (love that fruity scent!), and it gave a little life to my complexion that was on the verge of getting flakey. Hyaluronic acid is fantastic for hydrating and retaining moisture in the skin, and there are other ingredients like cactus juice and polyglutamic acids that help to regenerate skin cells and reduce signs of aging.
Lavido Thera Intensive Foot Cream - Retail Value - $10.00
I really love taking excellent care of my feet. I pamper them every morning and night because I cannot stand having dry toes. I always enjoy putting new foot creams, masks, and treatments to the test. I've tried this brand's body cream (which is excellent), so I knew this foot cream would be quality. It is rich and made my feet feel loved. The tea tree fragrance is always a nice touch for the toes, too!
This month's Kinder Beauty Box always provides a fabulous lot of products to explore. I love their foundation picks, but I am also so glad I chose the detangling brush and the tinted lip serum. Since Kinder started allowing their subscribers to choose, I feel like my experience has been more personalized, and I really appreciate that. The element of surprise and experimentation that subscription boxes offer is still there with the three base products everyone receives, but choosing two things has made this subscription even dearer to me. This month’s box variation, including my two chosen products, has a retail value of $134.99, which is an excellent value for its cost of $26.
