Bath Bevy is a subscription box for those who love self-care. Each month subscribers will receive a thoughtfully curated box featuring bath bombs, bath salts, and other bath products from various indie brands. If you aren't a fan of baths, Bath Bevy even has a Tubless subscription option, where you'll receive handmade bath and body goodness without a single item that requires running a bath. When you subscribe to Bath Bevy, you can expect to bathe in luxury no matter if you're standing in a shower or sitting in a tub.

This is a review of the Tubless Bath Bevy box, which will not send bath bombs, bubble bars, or any other bathing product you need a bath tub for.

First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Treat Yourself” Tubless May 2023 Review

Strawberry Champagne Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

I love that I can always count on receiving shower steamers in this subscription box- they're such a treat to use! These strawberry champagne steamers are fruitier than the steamers this sub typically sends, and while I prefer the zingier scents like peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree, these made for a nice change of pace and lasted for the length of my long shower and then some.

Whipped Up Wonderful Orange Cinnamon Waffle Shower Steamer - Retail Value $5

This is the first time since I've been receiving this box that we received shower steamers not from Bath Bevy. I was excited to try this artisan treat, but the strength of the scent was a little to be desired once it was actually on the floor of my shower. It smelled great when I held it up to my nose, but it wasn't very aromatic as it was dissolving which was a tad bit of a bummer.

Ginseng Pear Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

I love the whipped soap formula from Bath Bevy almost as much as I love their whipped soap scrubs. The formula is a tad bit denser than the scrub, but it's ultra gentle on my skin which is perfectly because I like to reach for this when my skin is feeling sensitive. The ginseng pear scent reminds me of the scents I typically experience when I enjoy a spa pedicure, which I found to be quite pleasant.

Two Wild Hares Blackberry Treat Handmade Soap Bar - Retail Value $10

While I prefer the whipped soap formulas for my body, I can appreciate the beauty of a well-made bar soap. Purple is my favorite color, so I really love the swirls in this blackberry-scented soap. I can't wait to put it out in my guest bathroom in my new apartment!

Green Daffodil Mackinac Island Fudge Soy Candle, 4 oz - Retail Value $10

I've never been to Mackinac Island (an island on Lake Huron in Michigan), but apparently they have quite a few fudge shops. I don't indulge in fudge often at all (while I have a huge sweet tooth, it's a little rich for me), but it certainly is fun to smell. This 4 oz candle is the perfect size to scent a powder room or bathroom, and I like that it's made with soy wax.

Cotton Candy Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

I am a big, big fan of cotton candy. I enjoy eating it and I enjoy smelling it and I love when things are inspired by it because the colors are pretty. This held true for this whipped soap scrub- it smelled great (though definitely sweet, so it may not be for everyone), and it had the standard Bath Bevy whipped soap scrub formula that is fluffy with gentle sugar granules scattered throughout.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. All of the prices for everything add up to $67, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

Even though I love baths and bath bombs, I quite enjoy the Tubless Bath Bevy subscription! This month's treat yourself box was a hit for me. I do love treating myself, and this box fit right into the self-care I love to do. There was quite a bit of variety in the scents sent this month, ranging from rich fudge to ginseng pear, but I thought that was fun. One thing I like about this box is you can always expect cohesive products that will provide a lovely sensorial experience whether you use them separately or in a longer pampering session. If you love using artisan bath products but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy tubless subscription.

I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
