Smartass & Sass is a monthly subscription for sassy ladies. There are 4 plans available:
Shirt Only for $19.95, Box Only for $39.95, the Big Box Subscription (which includes the shirt and box) for $54.95 and a “Small Box” subscription for $21.95. Shipping is $3.95 for the Shirt subscription and $7.95 for the others.
Each box contains 8-9 full size beauty and lifestyle items from Smartass & Sass and various other sassy businesses. The shirts are comfy unisex tees available in sizes XS-3X.

This water bottle is really cute! I love the color and it’s nice that it has a (different) saying on both sides. It holds 26 ounces and is made from stainless steel. I especially like the stainless steel cap; it’s sturdy, easy to open and close and looks stylish.
Let That Sh*t Go Journal - Retail Value $14.99

I’m so excited about this book! It’s a guided journal with fun activities. The best part is that it’s sassy! If you’re a smartass like me, regular journals can become boring, this one appeals to my inner b*tch. It’s the perfect way to feed a sassy soul!
All Worries Calm Strip - Retail Value $2.95

This sticker is brilliant! How often do we pretend we’re ok and say, “no, worries” when in reality, we’re falling apart? This is a reminder that it’s OK to not be OK. Besides being cute, it doubles as an anti-anxiety tool! It has a soft, sandy texture that you can run your fingers over when you’re restless or anxious. It’s also water-resistant and reusable: one less thing to worry about!
“Eye Need To Be Alone” Eye Soother - Retail Value $24.95

A soothing eye mask definitely fits the theme: it’s a great way to take a d*mn break! This one is made from a silky fabric that’s filled with a lightweight (and lovely smelling) mixture of lavender and flaxseed. The box insert suggests popping it into the fridge for a cooling, de-puffing treat.
I should note that while I love the idea and execution of the mask, mine arrived with stains on it. I’m not sure if the mask is washable so I’m using it as a lavender sachet in one of my dresser drawers. I will say that I didn’t bother Smartass & Sass with this issue because I’m sure they’d happily send a new one, and I don’t really need another, so I don’t want to bother them.
Long ago, I had a problem with the graphic on a hand towel. I emailed them and they apologized and quickly sent a new one. So I’m sure that if you have a similar issue with your eye mask (or any product they send) that they’ll take care of it in a flash!
Give Me A D*mn Break Bath Set - Retail Value $19.95

Here’s another item that perfectly fits this month’s theme: it even says so right on it! This set of body wash, lotion and foaming milk bath smell incredible and feel really indulgent. I can’t find a scent description but I pick up a fresh, earthy smell; geranium, I think.
I love the sturdy little bag they come in; I’ll definitely be saving it to use for a future sassy gift. I put the set of body goodies in my stash for guests who visit my home but they’re also the perfect size to toss into your suitcase for a relaxing getaway!
Cozy B*tch Era Blanket - Retail Value $29.95

Smartass & Sass polled their subscribers, asking who wanted to see a blanket in the box, and the overwhelming response was, “hell yes!” Well, here it is!
It’s a relaxing blue color with a snarky phrase and it’s super soft. The box insert says that it’s made from “heathered polyester fleece” which is great for spring. It’s warm but not too warm; just right for a snooze on a cool spring night. I’m excited to have it because I just got a puppy and I’m constantly going outside with him. I keep it folded next to my front door for early morning and late night potty trips.
Me Time Magenta Collectable Marker - Retail Value $4.95

This year, Smartass & Sass is including a different colored fine-point Sharpie, with appropriately funny phrases, in each month’s box. This is the third in the set and I love the phrase and especially the color. If you miss out on a month and want to complete your set, the Smartass online shop sells them (while supplies last).
Sh*t Happens, Naps Help Unisex T-Shirt - Retail Value $24.95
March's shirt definitely fits the “Give Me A D*mn Break” theme! The mustard color isn’t one that everyone will look good in but the phrase and image are so adorable that I think it’ll be a fan favorite.
Though I’m not a T-shirt person, my bestie is, so this shirt goes to her. She now has a collection of around two dozen Smartass & Sass shirts, which means she literally wears them every day of the month. Thank you Jenni, for posing for this photo! According to Jenni, the shirts are true to size, long enough to wear with yoga pants and ridiculously soft! She tells me that every morning she flips through them in her closet and chooses which to wear, based on her sass level that day!
The Verdict
I really love this month’s theme: “Give Me a D*mn Break” because it’s a good reminder that it’s ok for all of us to make self-care a priority. What a fantastic box! Well done, Smartass & Sass! Not only does every item in this month’s box fit the theme but every item is very fun and useful.
Last month I was confused by the spoilers and thought that April’s theme was for March. Fittingly, April’s box theme is: “Sass-Tainable.” It promises reusable, eco-friendly items in honor of Earth Day (April 22nd). What’s not to love about that?
I also want to note that Smartass & Sass has a great shop with items found, and not found, in the box. They also have a monthly "Secret Shop" for subscribers who automatically receive 20% off their order.
