Bath Bevy is a subscription box for those who love self-care. Each month subscribers will receive a thoughtfully curated box featuring bath bombs, bath salts, and other bath products from various indie brands. If you aren't a fan of baths, Bath Bevy even has a Tubless subscription option, where you'll receive handmade bath and body goodness without a single item that requires running a bath. When you subscribe to Bath Bevy, you can expect to bathe in luxury no matter if you're standing in a shower or sitting in a tub.

This is a review of the Tubless Bath Bevy box, which will not send bath bombs, bubble bars, or any other bathing product you need a bath tub for.

First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Spring Time” Tubless March 2023 Review

Uplifting Orange Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

As much as I love bath bombs I also love shower steamers, and I love that with this subscription I can expect to receive at least one set of shower steamers every month- they just make my morning showers so much more pleasant. These orange shower steamers weren't as powerfully zesty as I like my citrus products to be scented, but they did have a nice staying power- I felt like they lasted longer than normal in my shower.

Sugared Violets Body Wash, 9 oz - Estimated Value $12

The Bath Bevy body wash formula is nice, but if we are being honest with each other I do prefer to use a whipped soap or soap scrub to the more liquid-y body wash (maybe I need to get myself one of those sponges to suds up with to truly take appreciate difference between body wash and whipped soap-  this will make more bubbles). The sugared violets scent is a mix of floral and sweet- think fruits, violets, jasmine, sugar, and vanilla. It smells really lovely and very on point for spring.

Spring Magic Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

It's no secret I'm a fan of the whipped soap scrubs from Bath Bevy- they're a great way to get your legs prepped for shaving because they have a gentle scrub encased in fluffy whipped soap. The formula doesn't dry out my skin nor is it too abrasive, and they always smell good- Spring Magic is a deliciously sweet and fruity mix of strawberry, peach, raspberry, and cotton candy (if you add gin and seltzer it reminds me of a cocktail I've had before that had a cotton candy garnish, too.. yum).

Lemon Icing Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

This whipped soap is a bit more dense than the whipped soap scrub texture we have come to expect every month, and it has nothing abrasive or exfoliating inside. Along with just being a fun way to get clean, it's gentle on my skin and doesn't leave it feeling stripped or tight. The scent of this was a more rich gourmand with notes of vanilla icing and lemon, and it pairs really well with the next two products that came in our box.

I can't invite you over to my apartment to poke the soaps for yourself, but I thought I would share a side by side photo so you could get a little bit of an idea of the difference in texture between the whipped soap and whipped soap scrub.

Green Daffodil Lemon Verbena Soy Candle, 4 oz - Retail Value $10

This candle is probably my favorite item in the box- it smells beautiful with the classically crisp lemon verbena scent (it reminds me of lemon pledge, honestly, but I love that  "freshly cleaned" scent), and the soy wax has dried lemongrass and calendula petals to make it more beautiful to look at. The throw isn't as powerful as I would prefer (I like my candles on the more heavily fragranced side), but this is still a nice candle to have going in a bathroom or other small area.

Green Tea & Lemon Solid Lotion Stick - Retail Value $15

After getting clean with the lemon icing whipped soap, following up with this green tea and lemon solid lotion stick is a match made in sweet citrus heaven.  The solid lotion format makes it really easy to glide this over warm, damp skin when I just step out of the shower, and I like how it's hydrating but doesn't really feel too heavy. It has sunflower oil, shea butter, and beeswax so it has some moisturizing powerhouses in the formula, but the way you apply it means that you're only putting a thin layer on your skin which works out perfectly.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. All of the prices add up to $79, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

Even though I love baths and bath bombs, I quite enjoy the Tubless Bath Bevy subscription! This month's Spring Time-themed box came with quite a bit of soap in various forms, but I like how both the candle and the solid lotion stick came in scents that were complimentary to the whipped soap. You don't have to use them together, of course, but it's a sensorial treat if you choose to do so. Giving subscribers a lovely sensorial experience is actually something I've come to expect from this subscription on a monthly basis, and I reallyappreciate that. If you love using artisan bath products but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy tubless subscription.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

Are you able to use this all in one month? So intriguing but so much product! Seems better as a quarterly.
