Bath Bevy "Spring Time” March 2023 Review

Blue Raspberry Egg-Shaped Bath Bomb

Honestly, it wasn't until I opened up this month's box that I realized Easter wasn't too far away. These egg-shaped bath bombs are a cute way to celebrate this time of year, and the blue raspberry scent definitely made me think of, well, blue raspberry flavored thing. I liked the vivid blue this provided to my bath water, and I didn't have any issues with this staining my tub once it all drained away.

Peach Egg-Shaped Bath Bomb

This peach bath bomb was a pretty similar experience to the blue raspberry bath bomb, only instead of smelling like blue raspberry it reminded me of peach candy. It gave my bath water a deep orange color that didn't stain, and I enjoyed pairing this with the peach-scented lotion that also came in this months box.

Two Wild Hares Spring Has Sprung Bubble Salt, 7 0z

This bubble salt was fun, but I couldn't find it anywhere online to link it (it most likely will be up on the Bath Bevy website by the end of the month). It has a mix of sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, and Dead Sea salt. and made a good bit of bubbles when I added it to the running bath water. The scent leaned fruity, and it paired nicely with the blue raspberry bath bomb.

Pot of Gold Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

This whipped soap scrub is scented with notes of coconut, cardamon, and orange. Um, yum. It smells delicious, and it has the signature formula I've come to expect from a Bath Bevy soap scrub- it's gentle, not too abrasive, and doesn't dry out my skin.

Green Daffodil Lemon Verbena Soy Candle, 4 oz - Retail Value $10

This candle is probably my favorite item in the box- it smells beautiful with the classically crisp lemon verbena scent, and the soy wax has dried lemongrass and calendula petals to make it more beautiful to look at. The throw isn't as powerful as I would prefer (I like my candles on the more heavily fragranced side), but this is still a nice candle to have going in a bathroom or other small area.

Magnolia Peach Solid Lotion Stick

I'm a fan of peach flavored and scented products, and this solid lotion stick was the perfect thing to apply to damp skin when I stepped out of the bath after using the peach egg-shaped bath bomb. I liked how this smelled and how nourishing it was to my skin, plus it was super easy to apply- I just had to glide it over my legs and I was good to go.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy except the candle and bubble salts. Typically you can find all of the products listed on the Bath Bevy website, but they weren't up at the time of the writing of this review.

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box was another great box. We received a beautiful candle in a classic spring-time scent, two brightly colored bath bombs that are very timely for Easter, and a few other goodies that complimented each other well. I like how some of the scents paired so well together, like the blue raspberry bath bomb with the spring has sprung bubble salts and the peach bath bomb with the magnolia peach solid lotion stick- and I love how no matter how colorful the Bath Bevy bath bomb is I never have issues with my tub being stained. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription. This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products this is a subscription box worth checking out- in this new year you deserve a little extra self care.

I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

This looks like a fun sub. I think I should get a 3 months subscription; I don’t think I could go through all the items each month, but they sure look nice.

Ooh I love that they added sea salts right into the bubble bath, that’s such a good idea.
