First Impressions

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I was excited to see just what a theme like "Wild at Heart" could have in store. Simplistic and shabby chic in design, this box is packed with essential oils and consciously crafted and clean floral fragrances I just couldn't wait to try out.

What's Inside This Box

"Candy Hearts" Perfume Oil Roller, 10 mL - Listed Value $18

Conversation Hearts are one of my all time favorite Valentine's candy, and this perfume oil roller legit smells like straight up strawberry and lime candy! With tart aromas of Wild Strawberry, Lemon Blossom, and Lime Juice, this oil smells almost good enough to eat. A perfect scent combo to contrast the more sensual winter aromas I'm used to, this had a sweet twist that was enjoyable and easy to wear.

"Wild at Heart" Perfume Spray, 1 oz - Listed Value $29

Contrasting the "Candy Hearts" perfume oil roller perfectly, we received a perfume spray containing oils from Wild Rose, Marshmallow Milk, and White Amber. Very floral, yet soft and charming, it is an extremely calming fragrance that softens nicely throughout the day. I found combining a splash of the perfume spray with a roll of the perfume oil created a layered scent that worked together in a sweet and tart sort of way. While the bottle itself is simplistic in design, I do love the inclusion of the pink and red hearts for extra Valentine flair!

"Heart of Gold" Solid Lotion Bar

January tends to be extremely chilly in Minnesota, and today my car thermometer read -33 F on the way to school. Though I do wear gloves in this crazy weather, my hands are in desperate need for lotion. This month we received an embossed heart shaped gold lotion bar, and in perfect time! Though a little melty, once the gold outside is rubbed through, this bar made with Kyara Wood, Lotus Flower, Wild Cardamom, Ginger, and Amber smells quite earthy, pairing nicely with the rose perfume spray. As you can see in the photos, the layer of gold comes off very vibrantly, but rubbed in well for a moisturized feel. What a fun inclusion for this month's box!

"Heart's Desire" Aloe Whip

The last item we received is one that I love the look and smell of, but am not quite sure how to use it. Labelled "Aloe Whip" it looks like a lotion, but is it? I checked out the website but only found body butter, so used it in that fashion. Scented with notes of Wild Ginger, Yuzu, and Moroccan Mint, this beautiful cream is lightly fruity with an end note of the mint. It blended into my skin nicely, and the pink gel addition is really fun. I'm just a slight bit concerned I'm lathering myself up with some sort of soap rather than lotion, so if someone has more info on this product, please send it my way!

Jess

You used it correctly, an aloe whip is a lotion and aloe combo for extra moisture.
