This is such a classic, fresh and clean design for February. I am happy they didn't do a straight-up Valentine's Day theme with hearts or cupids. It is girly, and it is fun!

Jelly Pong Pong describes this formula as a "mousse-powder hybrid." It is an intense collection of cream-to-powder warm metallics; the pigmentation on each of these shades are true to pan, and they are so smooth. These are the best for when you're in a rush and you want to look done up with minimal effort. Swipe on a shade or two and you're good to go!
Trifle Cosmetics Glow Icing Highlighting Powder Duo - Retail Value $19.00

This frosty duo adds a lot of shine. I prefer glossy highlights, but sometimes you want to be beamed up into the vastness of space via highlight. It was easy to tone both of these shades down, but you could also really go ham if you wanted.

Okay, I love balmy lipstick. I love a hydrating, creamy formula that keeps your lip lines at bay and makes your lips feel moisturized and comfortable. This formula has it all, except for pigmentation. Woof, I feel like I am back in the 90's when wearing concealer on the lips was an option; it wasn't my thing then, and I'm certainly not into it now. I would love this in a different shade, but as is, I'm afraid that this color just isn't my vibe.

While I love hydrating lip products, lip stains will always have a piece of my heart. I feel like lip stains have come so far in the last couple of years. This one in particular feels so smooth on the lips; it wears off nicely leaving a little color and it doesn't dry out your lips.

Oh hi! It's me with a full face from So Susan's picks this month. I really like how my eyeshadow pops, and the Trifle gel stain has just enough pigment to wear comfortably without needing constant touchups.
Verdict
This month's So Susan Color Curate was a great mix of products. I really love the eyeshadow and gel lip stain. The highlighter I will likely pass on, and the lipstick.. well I don't know if I know anyone brave enough to try this shade out. This month's bag's retail value comes to $109.95; you're getting four products for $20.95, which is a fantastic value.
