First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

We got a little bonus treat in this month's box, which really excited me- this was actually my first candy cane of the season so I tore into it immediately.

Bath Bevy "Home For The Holidays” December 2022 Review

Mulberry Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

This mulberry bath bomb is scented with notes of cherry, strawberry, tangerine, orange, and mango. It was super fruity and sweet, and I am happy to report the pretty red color did not stain my bath tub or leave any residue behind.

Candy Cane Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

I am a passionate lover of peppermint in any form (unless we’re topically applying peppermint oil to the skin on my face…), so I was stoked to see this candy cane bath bomb infused with peppermint oil. The smell was crisp and refreshing, and when I was done bathing I stepped out of the tub feeling like a new woman.

Gingerbread Waffles Bubble Bath - Retail Value $12

This bubble bath smells delicious- it has notes of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla listed in the scent notes, and it creates a mound of fluffy, sweet-scented bubbles. I appreciate that I don't need a ton of this bubble bath to get a good amount of bubbles, so I can easily get another four-six baths out of this bottle depending on how generously I pour it into the tub.

Whipped Up Wonderland Mrs. Clause Cookies Bath Bomb - Retail Value $9

This fun looking bath bomb smells like freshly baked sugar cookies topped with buttercream frosting mixed with a touch of magic from Mrs. Clause herself. It didn’t really add any of its own color to the bath other than a bit of wispy white, but it had loads of fizz inside of it that got right to work the second it touched the water.

Winter Home Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16

I love Epsom salts and use them almost every time I take a bath, so I get excited when they’re included in this subscription box and I get to switch things up from my typical Dr. Teals. The “winter home” scent is a mix of sparkling citrus, clove, cinnamon, and vanilla,” and it has that yummy gourmand holiday scent that I love to smell this time of year.

Frosty Soap Bar - Estimated Value $9 (linked to similar soap in different scent)

I’m pretty partial to the whipped soaps that appear in almost every Bath Bevy box compared to soap bars, but I am absolutely charmed by this light blue soap that features Frosty the Snowman himself right in the middle. It’s scented with notes of cherry, lemon sugar, and lime, and I’m really partial to the citrus notes.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. All of the prices add up to an estimated $62, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box was another winner. Three bath bombs, Epsom salts, bubble bath, and a cute themed bar of soap, with all of them smelling nice and none of them staining my bath tub or skin? You'll hear no complaints from me. Bath Bevy does a good job creating artisan products under their label, and whenever they feature another brand it is always a special treat. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription offer (Check out the October Tubless review here!). This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products this is a subscription box worth checking out- in this new year you deserve a little extra self care.
