What's Inside This Box

Uve Beauty Antimicrobial Blender - Retail Value - $19.99

I always love to receive beauty tools in subscription boxes, especially bright pink sponges that blend foundation like a dream. The Uve Blender boasts its anti-microbial properties as well as its superior blending abilities. It is soft and has a neat flat side that makes this tool very easy to use.

ATHR Beauty The Big Bang Mascara - Retail Value - $28.00

I tend to be super picky about my mascara, it can never flake or smudge, and this ended up being a keeper. The thin brush was so easy to use and build up a lengthy lash. It was easy to wash off, but it didn't run during the day.

Nomad x Whistler Snow Lodge Eyeshadow in Buck-ing Great - Retail Value - $12.00

Eyeshadow singles never impress me too much, especially a matte color, but this green is totally my jam. It is such a fun color to replace your black eyeliner with. The pigmentation is solid, and there wasn't anything chalky about this shade. It actually makes me want to check out Nomad's other shadows.

100% Pure Does It All Sheet Mask - Retail Value - $7.00

This multitasking mask was my favorite beauty find this month. It is shaped very wide for a mask, but it fit my face comfortably after I bunched it up a little around my nostrils. After I removed this mask, my face felt soft, supple, and hydrated. Usually, I steer away from fragranced skincare, but this scent didn't irritate my nose or my skin.

Flower Mill Balm Shell  - Retail Value - $32.00

I absolutely love using emollient makeup removers and cleansers. This feels so good on the skin, but unfortunately, it is full of essential oils. I can't use them on my sensitive skin, even if I am just going to be rinsing it off of my face. This face balm is a great alternative to makeup removers that tend to dry out the skin. I used this to remove swatches from my arm, and it did a pretty good job on everything except for a pretty stubborn lip stain.

The Verdict

This month's Kinder Beauty Box was a fantastic box to close out a brilliant year. I love the makeup blender, face mask and mascara sampled this month, and I am sure I will be using the eyeshadow single quite a bit this winter. The beauty balm wasn't a great fit for me, but I'll keep it to remove swatches. Kinder Beauty is a great subscription if you're looking to broaden your horizons with cruelty-free and vegan options. This month’s box has a retail value of $98.99, which is an excellent value for its cost of $26.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Very cool that they’ve included a Nomad single. Nomad makes fantastic palettes with multiple formulas and fun colour stories. Definitely check them out!

I was about to say the same thing, Carrie. Nomad Eyeshadows are among my faves. Fun color stories, pigmentation is solid, and are so blendable. Plus, I believe Nomad is a small company that make small batches of their products if I remember correctly. I own a few of their palettes.
