November is here, and so are my favorite scents of all time. Bring me all of the pumpkin, apple, cinnamon, and leaf scented items, and I will be happy! I discovered Vellabox a few months ago, and I can honestly say, I have never had a better candle than the small batch candles I have discovered in this box. Not only do I have to change our furnace filter less often, but the candles themselves burn better, smell better, and are safer for my family. Along with the candle, you will also receive a surprise gift, a Spotify playlist, and a card with an inspirational quote to make this box an entire experience.

This month's candle maker is South Roots Wax Co., which was created with the intention of helping you escape from reality. Creating candles with 100% American grown soy wax, these clean burning candles are poured with love in small batches and are free of paraffin, dyes, phthalates, and Prop 65 chemicals. With notes of sweet apple, cinnamon, cedar, and smoke, this candle is truly one of my favorites of all time. Not overly strong, the scent throw this 8 ouncer offers is fair, but not over powering. Seated in my kitchen, it gives off the perfect scent. I am totally the meme that goes "Once she cleans the house and lights a candle: don't touch anything else!" Along with the fantastic scent, I also love the organic looking label and simplistic clear jar and white wax. Totally classic, and a great fit for my decor!
I love the fact that this box features a different candle maker each month. Not only do we receive a background story on each candle maker, but we also received a coupon code, and a QR code for easy re-purchase.

Aromatherapy is a huge part of my life after being diagnosed with anxiety, so receiving a free "Relax" rollerball was, as the kids these days say, "clutch." Containing a blend of lavender, chamomile, sage, and geranium, this was a welcomed change from my regular lavender. Dabbing on my wrists and neck, it really has calming properties that help me slow down and breathe, and I can't get enough of it. I will definitely be checking out the other blends from Soulistic Root because they truly are fantastic.
Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $22
Vellabox was seriously on fire this month, and I mean that in the absolute best way. Not only did I receive a candle that smelled like absolute perfection, but the bonus item was relevant to me as well. I know these small-batch candles are more expensive than big-batch brands, but because you literally get what you pay for, I am 100% okay splurging in this area. Not only was this month's candle a hit, but the rollerball proved extremely useful as well. I can't wait to see what Vellabox has in store for next month!
