My husband and I have not purchased any new cutlery since we got married 9 years ago, and it seemed like it was time to upgrade our steak knives–so this box seemed like a great option!

This set of four steak knives is actually quite pretty! The rust-resistant stainless steel blade has a fine edge that looks sleek and works wonderfully for cutting. I didn't get to try it out on steak just yet, but it peeled and sliced up an apple perfectly! The handle is made of beautiful smoked teak wood with three rivets. Not only do these look incredibly nice, but they have a bit of weight to them making them feel sturdy and durable. These are definitely an upgrade to the knives we had previously!
Ancho Americano - Ancho Chile Coffee Blend by Whiskey Bent BBQ - Retail Value $11.75

This rub is going to be so good on the cut of meat that my husband smokes for us! It is a blend of spices, ancho chile peppers, chipotle peppers, and coffee, which was a bit of a surprising ingredient. It has just the right balance of salt to sweet to spice for me and the coffee, while just a hint, really helps to round out those flavors. While perfectly tasty on its own, I can't wait to try it as an actual rub!
Supercharge Add-On
I was super eager to test out Bespoke Post's newest offering, which is the option to Supercharge your order each month. In addition to picking your box, they will also add a bonus item to your cart for a special price. The item will retail for more, but it will only cost you up to $20 plus tax and you always have the option to skip it. You can't swap out your item the way you can with the boxes, but you can preview it and opt out if it's not for you.
Echo Pocket Scope by Brunton - Retail Value $34

This month they chose this little pocket scope for us. It felt very random, but I wanted to try it out and see what the quality was like. This one did cost us the full $20, but it retails for $34, so it was still a good deal. While this isn't something we were in the market for, I am so glad we opted in! It is really cool and comes with a microfiber cloth to clean it with, a strap, and a case. The scope itself is a quality item and I was so impressed with the magnification (7X) and clarity (as close as 13"). I can't wait to take this on our next hike with us because I think it will be perfect for checking out some wildlife up close! This was the little item we didn't know we needed or wanted, but are now super glad to have!
Value - Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $56.89
Value Breakdown: We received a set of four steak knives and some spices with a total retail value of $91.70. Not bad for the cost of this box! If we include our supercharge item that's a total value of $125.70 when we paid a total of $78.09. Not bad at all!
