Vine Oh! is a quarterly subscription box featuring wine + women's lifestyle items that are curated to help women relax, recharge and unwind. For $64.99 per quarter, you'll receive two bottles of wine (choose two sweets, two reds, two whites, or a mix), plus lifestyle gift items that will have a total retail value of at least $120. This box ships to the U.S., except the following states: AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, KY, MS, RI, UT. Bonus Tip: You can change the shipping address each quarter - keep the first one for yourself, change the address to your mom or other special lady for the next box! It's the perfect gift to share all year long! (Or just keep them all for yourself!)

As August comes to a close, I am beginning to notice the leaves on the Maple trees starting to change, the nip in the night air, and the diminishing daylight. While I am sad to see summer go, you can bet I am excited for fall and all the mulled wine, pumpkins, and cozy sweaters I can get my hands on! Perfect to kick off the autumn season, Vine Oh! recently shipped out their "Oh! For Me! Box and I couldn't wait to dive in to see what we received.

This box was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more).

First Impressions

Inside the shipping box, you will receive a smaller box that contains all of the lifestyle items. The wine bottles are safely cased below at the bottom of the shipping carton, arriving safe and sound.

In the past few seasons, I have noticed that Vine Oh! has decided to forgo their usual postcard style content cards in exchange for an informational pamphlet. Included is information on each item, the retail value, and even some special offers, followed by a recipe for Mulled Wine. This month's box was valued at over $150!

What's Inside the Box

2019 New Crush California Pinot Grigio - Retail Value $24.00

This aromatic and complex Pinot Grigio presents aromas of white peaches and white flowers, sea spray, oyster shell and flavors ranging from casaba melon to citrus zest with a hint of Creme Fraiche in the finish.

Presented in a beautiful clear bottle adorned with blue font and fingerprints forming a heart, this Pinot Grigio is not only stunning to look at, but utterly delicious to taste. Light and easy to drink, I was able to easily pull out the notes of white peaches, flowers, and citrus. Being a bit surprised the description mentioned oyster shell as part of the aroma, I had to go back and assess. Because I am not a fan of seafood, I don't have any experience with what an oyster shell may present like in a wine but didn't detect any fishy flavors in the aroma or flavor. Something that I am thankful for! Pairing well with dinner or dessert, my husband and I both enjoyed the flavor of this wine and found it to be the perfect addition to our at home date night.

2018 Night Vine California Cabernet Sauvignon - Retail Value $24.00

Night Vine Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of wild dark fruits, baking spices, tobacco and hits of vanilla. Flavors of plum, dark cherry and blueberry leads to well-balanced tannins and structure.

Bold, warm, and earthy are three words I would use to describe this lovely Cabernet Sauvignon. Noting the flavors of the wild dark fruits and the hint of tobacco, I found this red wine to be perfectly balanced. With just the right acidity, this wine isn't overly dry, and paired deliciously with pork chops and potatoes. While my husband tends to be more of a red wine fan than myself, I truly enjoyed this glass, and won't hesitate to pour myself another in the future!

Swig Skinny Can Cooler - Listed Value $25

Second to wine, you can find me enjoying a Topo Chico Hard Seltzer every now and again. Because I tend to be a slow drinker, I appreciate a can cooler, especially when it's a beauty like this one! The beautiful fuchsia-colored cherry blossoms pop right off the shimmery neutral background, making it not only a functional drink cooler, but a topic of conversation around the fall bonfire as well. This particular cooler holds 12oz slim cans and keeps them cold for over 12 hours. Using triple insulation and copper plating, this cooler also can keep drinks hot for over 3 hours. The instructions list it as being dishwasher safe, but they do recommend hand washing instead, and please, please, please don't put this in the microwave!

Joico Defy Damage Hair Masque - Listed Value $25

I love hair products, and because I do a lot of heat styling, I am all for damage defying products. After a long summer in the sun coupled with the use of a flat iron, my fine hair is in serious need of some help. I applied a healthy amount of this earthy smelling conditioner to clean, damp hair and massaged in for about 5 minutes. Once saturated, I rinsed and let air dry. After a single use, my hair felt definitely softer and shinier, without looking greasy. While the bottle didn't mention how often to use, I would feel comfortable applying once a week to keep my frizz in check.

MyTagAlongs Cosmetic Bag -Listed Value $20

I'm not going to lie, when I first saw this cosmetic bag, I had some feelings of nostalgia. Going back to about 1997, my Grandma Carol had a herringbone stitched bag that was eerily similar to this design, in a muted grey color and she stored her curlers in it. While I'm sure her bag wasn't made of 100% recycled polyester, I never found it especially stylish. Measuring in at 8.25" X 4.75" X 3", this dusty pink bag is of good size, and fit all of this box's contents in it easily, but just doesn't do it for me as far as style goes.

Always in High Heels Planner - Listed Value $30

Personally, I love the thought of planners and start out the school year using them only to give up and rely on my sub-par memory or my phone calendar. Has that bitten me in the butt? Yes, yes it has. With school starting next week, this small, easy to carry planner will definitely be coming with me, and I have already started filling it out. Not only does this little pad have a really cute (and pertinent) cover, but it also has pages that you can track goals and habits on all while being customizable to the month you want to start. Winning!

Prairy Anise Free Pfeffernusse - Listed Value $2

Perfect for fall, the snack we received this month comes from Germany and is utterly fabulous! With a light almost shortbread texture, the cinnamon and molasses flavor give these a bit of a gingersnap feel, but in a mini version. Pairing fantastically with the Pinot Grigio, I could have used an entire case of these delicious little guys!

Free Gift: Core Charcuterie Board

If you are a new subscriber, Vine Oh! will also send out this pair of Core Charcuterie Boards. I received this set when I subscribed a few seasons ago, and while I use them more as cutting boards than Charcuterie boards, they are really nice. My only advice is to hand wash these bamboo beauties, because they will get destroyed in the dishwasher.

Verdict

Autumn is in the air, and Vine Oh! has delivered yet again. While at first, I didn't get a fall vibe from this box, after closer examination, I realized the planner coincides with the school year, the spiced cookies are perfect for the season, the hair repair was much needed after a summer full of sun, and the cooler is perfect for bonfires, aligning all contents with fall. While I wish the makeup bag would have been a deeper color to coordinate with the burgundies and mustards, I've been seeing this season, I am always thankful for travel organization, now that I have trainings and things to attend. Overall, I felt this box was very well rounded, and as always, loved the wine selections they chose. What did you think about the Oh! For Me! Box?
