The earrings of the month arrive in this small white box, simply packaged with an info card on top and your earrings tucked underneath. The card is an exciting preview of what's held within, and usually gives a little styling inspo.

The front of the card shows a peek at the earrings inside your box, but INK+ALLOY's earrings all seem to come in a handful of color combinations, so what you see isn't necessarily exactly what you'll get. In this case, for me, though, it was an accurate preview! On the reverse side we're told that this pair was handwoven by women in India, and offered in a color combo that should hopefully segue nicely from summer to fall outfits. I agree! They also always give a 15% off code toward any purchases made outside the subscription.

I'm in love with these colors and shapes. The rusty orange and deep golden yellow are two of my very favorite colors, and they're complemented so nicely with the rose pink and deep peacock blue tones. The off-white backdrop color really makes them pop. While some pairs of earrings from INK+ALLOY are colors or shapes that inspire me to try new styles I wouldn't otherwise have gone for, this pair is squarely my style and has been really easy for me to pop on with almost anything in my wardrobe.

Here you can see how the earrings peek out from under my hair when worn fully down, and then you can swipe to see a glimpse of an earring in its full glory. I have come to love light-colored earrings for the way they're visible from under my hair, and this pair in particular offers great balance to the little blonde bit I have going on.
Verdict
These earrings feel custom-made for me! I adore the color, shape, and style. The earrings are lightweight and well-crafted, and this pair has proven to be really natural for me to style with my existing wardrobe.
