First Impressions

Goddess Provisions does a beautiful job with packaging.

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme. This month's theme is "Sacred Space."

What's Inside This Box

Mind's Eye Pillowcase - Retail Value $44.00

There are many fabulous reasons to love Goddess Provisions, but my favorite thing about this subscription is their eye for home decor. I am always shocked at the items that can fit in one tiny box and the impact these finds make in my own sacred space. This design is a celestial take on the Third Eye which can serve as a reminder to trust your intuition. I love the soft colors and fabric of this pillowcase. It has a groovy 70's feel to it, matching perfectly with the autumnal color scheme I have going on in my living room lately.

Zodiac Archetypes Wall Hanging - Listed Value $33.00

I love astrology and can totally get caught up with analyzing birth charts nowadays, so to say I was stoked about this home good would not be an exaggeration. This chain is 16 inches with 12 brass medallions representing each zodiac sign. The brass is shiny and worn in spots, which I think adds to each medallion's appeal.

Yin Yang Decorative Hanger - Listed Value $22.00

A yin yang represents balance, something we all could use more of. This is a fun decoration that my son immediately had his eyes on (I definitely think it was the tassel for him). The back is canvas and the front is embroidered with three shades of purple and black. It is another celestial take on a classic symbol, including a star and moon and a few star-shaped sequins sewn in on the black side.

Balipura Space Clearing Spray - Retail Value $14.00

This month's theme celebrates your space and gives you the tools to rid that sacred space of toxic or negative energies. Space Clearing Spray can put you in a totally different mindset if you're open to it. Hold the bottle in your hands, set an intention, and spray your space with this cleansing mist infused with crystals. The fragrance in this spray is mostly tea tree oil with a hint of citrus and herbs; I sprayed it a few times, but the fragrance does not last more than a few moments.

Jasmine and Cedarwood Incense - Retail Value $14.00

I've always loved cedarwood incense, and the clean smell of jasmine is such a refreshing twist to a classic. These mini sticks (5.5 inches) burn in a shorter amount of time, compared to normal-sized incense, and they put out the perfect amount of fragrance for a small space.

Chrysoprase - Listed Value $8.00

The info sheet tells me that this stone is used to "welcome abundance into your life and helps to heal your inner child." It may also aid in welcoming happiness and joy as well. Chrysoprase came to my doorstep at exactly the right time; my husband and I just welcomed our baby girl into the world earlier this month. It is overwhelming how much joy and happiness she has brought with her, and I know having this crystal about can only add to our happiness. I've found that parenting my babies the way I choose has really been a healing experience for me, especially for my inner child, and I hope that this crystal can somehow refuel my patience tank every once in a while for me. This beautiful green and brown stone is going right on my desk, front, and center.

Verdict

Goddess Provisions somehow exceeds my expectations every month and keeps me on my toes. The theme of "Sacred Space" this month was an absolute hit featuring all home goods, including my new favorite gorgeous crystal, Chrysoprase. I am always impressed with their new finds, and I can't wait to see what next month has in store.  This month's box has a value of $135; that is an amazing value for a $33 box.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
