Why aren’t the October spoilers posted yet?

Allure Beauty Box

Hi, Melissa! We’re so happy to hear about your excitement for our October box. Please make sure to check out Allure Beauty Box website on the first of the month to see our full product lineup. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

Allure, the spoilers are up on several other sites already. Also, waiting until the 1st doesn’t work when you charge my card on the 1st, FYI. Been skipping more since this became the norm.

I have posted a couple negative reviews in the past so I feel it’s only right to speak up when I experience something positive with Allure’s montly beauty box. I am very happy with the September box. First of all, I LOVE the full size conditioner. I did a deep conditioning treatment with it the other day and it works really well and actually does what it says. LOL. I’m happy with just about everything else too. Seeing and trying out new products I’ve never had before is what intrigued me in the first place about this sub and I’m very pleased with this month’s box.

Has everyone already gotten shipping confirmation for this months box? I haven’t and I feel like i usually do by the 10th of the month.

Kristin

I got my box last week, which is early.

I got my box in the mail yesterday…

Annette

Hummmm, interesting!

Yessy

Are you able to get more than 1 box from this company? Like use different accounts to get multiple boxes?

Kirstie

My box came today (I’m an annual subscriber) and I got everything listed with the exception of the new subscriber gift (because I’m not new, obvs). I’m actually pretty satisfied with the box for the first time in months.

They are running a sale until September 19 to get your first box for $10, using code BOX10.

I’m actually excited there’s a full sized hair product in here although I’d really like to see some hair growth serums like I’ve seen show up in other boxes. I would like to see some body oils or washes more often as well. The perfect box would have 1 hair, 1 skin, 1 makeup& 1 bath/body product each month but I have yet to find a box today sticks to that method. But one thing I can’t stand is when they add items that are or will soon be discontinued in these boxes because the whole point is to test new products. This means not only is it not a new(or newer) product but it’s also not going to be available if I find I really like it….

I understand exactly what you mean. I have cancelled all of my boxes except Allure, and Beautyfix. I do keep an eye on the LookFantastic boxes and some months I’ll grab those but I got tired of too much of the same thing.

Allure beauty box has really gone downhill recently. Their customer service either no longer responds or there is no follow up. I’m no longer receiving the confirmation email stating they’ve received my messages either. When i skip through the portal, it also doesn’t send a confirmation email and customer service is requiring i provide this email to prove i actually skipped. I just received my second skipped box in a row of products that i neither need nor want. I am subscribed annually so there is nothing i can do. New subscribers please be wary!

I know I totally agree!! I called them to skip September. I don’t want anything they’re offering. I sure hope October is better.

Reply ButtonReply

Shea

Your now able to skip by logging in on the website & skipping. That way you don’t have to worry about them getting your email or not. You have to do it before the 1st of the month though.

I’ve been really impressed with my Allure Beauty Box ❤️

Yessy

I am excited for this box and I subscribed to it. I can’t wait to try the items and regardless of negative opinions, I am glad I signed up.

Dawn

I see why they waited until after billing to release spoilers. No FOMO here.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

You have until the third of the month to skip.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

On my Allure account it charges my card the 1st of the month, so, no time to skip and see spoilers for me.

Ranee

Dawn..are you a member to any of these beautyboxes?..just asking

This is a pretty nice curation, imo. Much better than recent months. I may grab a box from Amazon.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

I succumbed and re-upped for 3 months.

I used the coupon code and it knocked the 3-month down to $53.

Reply ButtonReply

Florence

What coupon did you use? I thought the codes were for one month only.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Coupon code “Milk”

I suppose it could be argued that the code applied to the first box regardless of whether it was just a first box or the first in a series.

If you order a 3-month subscription, the price is $20 per box.

Nat

For the first time in months, I am actually interested in a box. Getting this through Amazon.

Coco1

Me too. Much better than the past several months. I go through a lot of serum, so I’m getting it mostly for the serum, and the other items are just nice extras.

Reply ButtonReply

Mandi

Same! I’ll probably get it from Amazon since this is the first box in a while that looks interesting to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Angela DeSilva

Ugh! That mascara is crap it has horrible reviews too! Nothing good this month so I called and skipped September to make sure I wouldn’t get billed.

JuJu

For the past few months (or maybe even 4-5 months) I’ve had an offer on my American Express card for $10 off Allure beauty box if I spend at least $23, and for months I kept waiting to see if there would be a single box that would appeal to me enough to actually redeem the offer. None of them did. 😒

I mean, it’s sad, I really wanted to buy one, but they could just as well have been full of nothing with the amount of usable items I was seeing.

The Body Shop?! This box’s quality has fallen so far!

Reply ButtonReply

Mandi

I think the brand is much better than the stuff they’ve had in boxes recently, like the Able/Symbiosis fake line, MLM brands, and expired stock they bought years ago.

Reply ButtonReply

Tolin

The Body Shop is now using MLM in addition to retail stores.

mia

What’s wrong with The Body Shop? They make great products from ethically sourced materials and support social and environmental justice. And they’re not exactly cheap. Their Drops of Youth line run about $30.

I think it’s not unusual for discontinued stuff to wind up in beauty boxes. For example, Bite Beauty is going out of business, and I’ve seen their stuff pop up on Ipsy lately.

LeanGreenBean

I don’t think The Body Shop is a bad brand overall, but this Body Shop peel specifically just has terrible ingredients. Two kinds of drying alcohols, and denatured alcohol is the second ingredient after water, yikes. It’s also discontinued! I couldn’t find it on their USA or UK websites. It makes me curious about why it was discontinued.
