I’m excited to see what products have been selected for this month’s curation as well as to find out which signature products they have included.

Each month, Nourish Beauty Box usually arrives with an info card that has a quick overview of the box on one side and more detailed information about the products included on the other. This month I did not receive a card.
Now, on to the items!
LILLY BE Essential Oil Perfume in Be Energized, - Retail Value $20

Personally, I’m not one for perfumes or fragrances of any kind; even natural scents. In fact, if I had the chance to magically make all scent disappear from my body care, skincare, hair care, or any care products, I’d be the happiest person on earth. That being said, this Lilly Be perfume surprised me. It’s all-natural, with organic ingredients including peppermint, ginger, rosemary, and grapefruit, all of which are supposed to help provide an energizing boost to your mind. Simply roll onto your pulse points and inhale. I was shocked to find that since peppermint is the predominant scent in this aromatic blend, I actually really enjoy this ‘Energized’ perfume. Now, I don’t know if it actually does anything for my mind, but at least it feels like I’m trying whenever I apply it. I especially love the roll-on applicator of this product as well as the fact that the exterior bamboo casing is refillable as is the glass bottle. I love it when a brand keeps sustainability at the forefront.
NOURISH NATURALS Safflower Shimmer Luminizing Vegan Lip Gloss in Passion, 4 ml - Retail Value $16

I am so excited… They brought back the lip gloss from Nourish Naturals. Will this become the box’s reigning signature product once again? I hope so, but we shall see. The only change I’ve noticed so far is the design of the packaging and the shape of the container that houses the gloss itself. But otherwise, this seems like the classic lip gloss I’ve grown to love over the past few years. What I love about this gloss is that it’s super hydrating like a lip balm but works nicely as a tinted liquid lip, giving my lips a pop of color. The standard doe foot applicator works nicely to apply the product, both smoothly and easily. And the scent of the lip gloss is quite divine… It smells a bit like an orange creamsicle, and I am truly enjoying it. I hope to see another one of these in next month’s box; fingers crossed!

WYLDFLOWER LABS Hibiscus and Fruit Acids Clarifying Facial Toner, 50 ml - Retail Value $30

Ooh, how unique! This Clarifying Facial Toner from Wyldflower Labs came just in time; I was just about running out of my current toner. I’m very intrigued by this product because it’s an oil-controlling toner. Its formula highlights AHA fruit acids and witch hazel as a way to control breakouts, refresh skin, and tighten pores. For me, witch hazel is a bit harsh but since this is in a spray bottle, more like a facial mist, it didn’t irritate my skin at all. The one thing I noticed is that the toner itself doesn’t look the most appealing… It reminds me a bit of coconut water, with that cloudy / murky look to it. But otherwise, the way it looks doesn’t affect the usefulness of this product, and I’m happy to have it on hand. I apply this to my freshly cleansed face, before my serums and moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. Oh, and the smell is not at all overpowering but actually quite nice.
WYLDFLOWER LABS Brahmi Rose Resurfacing Face Mask, 54 g - Retail Value $68

Wow, Wyldflower Labs hit us with a one-two punch this month! I am a huge fan of face masks… But when it comes to DIY masks like these, I tend to steer clear. It’s not because the process is difficult but because I am lazy, or should I say, I have limited relaxation time, and with that time, I prefer to experience the least amount of frustration as is humanly possible. And for me, one of the ways I eliminate frustration is by using sheet masks where all the hard work has already been done for me. But if you are someone who loves making your own masks and actually finds the process enjoyable, then this Brahmi Rose Resurfacing Face Mask might be for you. It is packed with 11 powerhouse ingredients that have been combined with three different French clays to create an incredible blend filled with vitamins, minerals, and more. I am going to be passing this onto a friend of mine who enjoys DIY masks and will get much more use out of it than I will.
Verdict
I thought this was a great month for Nourish Beauty Box! I am so thrilled that they brought back the Nourish Naturals lip gloss, and I hope it is here to stay as their signature product. It offers a wonderful hydrating feeling with a pop of color that I love. I also really enjoyed Wyldflower Labs’ facial toner. It leaves my face feeling refreshed and not at all irritated, despite the inclusion of witch hazel in the formula. Lilly Be’s perfume in ‘Energized’ is one of the few fragrances whose scent I don’t despise, and whether or not it helps to revitalize my mind, I don’t know, but it’s worth a try. Lastly, the resurfacing face mask from Wyldflower Labs… Unfortunately I’m not a DIY masker connoisseur but for those who are, this is likely to be a hit. Overall, I really enjoyed the product curation of this box, and the value was certainly there.
