This may be my favorite bag, yet! Am I the only one who thinks they just keep getting better and better? I love the joy on the woman's face, and who doesn't love a zen pineapple?! The size of each So Susan bag is perfect for a day's look, and they're so easy to wipe clean. These bags definitely add value to this subscription, and I am always looking forward to see the next month's design.

I've been using makeup for over 20 years, and it still holds the same wonderment for me. I love eyeshadow, and I love color; this palette is pigmented, and what a delightful array for summer! I am definitely not one to shy away from a bold blue eye look, so playing with these shades was a treat. Swatches below!

Nothing says summer better than a dewy glow on the cheeks and bubblegum pink on the lips. The creamy texture was so easy to blend, and it created a really nice monochromatic look. I was very pleased with its pigment, not to mention this pink color is totally poppin'.

This is definitely my favorite find from this month's bag. This is not your average highlight; it is a beautiful creamsicle shade with gold shimmer. The stick format is such a convenience, just dab, blend and gorg! Cream products are such a joy to use during the warmer months, and I know this baby is going to get so much use all summer long.
Trifle Cosmetics Bonbon Bling in Black Forest - Retail Value $15.00

This is something I have always wanted, but I never took the plunge. I love when something on my wants list falls into my lap! Black glitter is so hard to work with, but if you do it right (which I did not [see below], haha), it can be stunning. In hindsight, a smokey eye is definitely where this product could shine. I ended up using it over my black eyeliner, which wasn't enough surface area to really show you what this could do. I patted a glitter glue on my lid and patted some loose pigment on, but this wasn't a precise enough approach to my thin liner.

I am wearing all of the products from this month's bag in this photo. I love the way my makeup looked, and most of it was such an easy swipe and blend approach, thanks to all of the cream products sampled this month. As you can see, the glitter didn't turn out the way I'd hoped, but in the future, I'll definitely save it for a dark, smokey eye.
Verdict
This month's So Susan Color Curate was probably my favorite to date. Every product was fun, seasonally appropriate and best of all, it is something you don't find every day in the subscription box world. The highlighter stick is definitely my favorite, but the cheek and lip tint is a close second--just check out that pigmentation! This month's picks add up to a value of $112; I think that is a fantastic value for this $20.95 subscription!
