First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Hello, Summer” June 2022 Review

Berries & Cream Bath Bomb, 7 oz - Retail Value $8

I truly love bath bombs- not everyone may be as much as a bath bomb aficionado as I am, but they just spark a lot of joy in my heart. We received three bath bombs in this month's box (score!), and the first one was this blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla-scented bomb in a few different shades of purple.

Here it is in action. I thought it was quite pretty.

Whipped Soap Scrub in Coconut Lime Verbena - Retail Value $15

I don't know if it is a guarantee that each month you'll receive a whipped soap scrub in your Bath Bevy box, but I've received a new one in each box since I've started reviewing the monthly box. I like getting these whipped soaps, though- the scrub part is incredibly mild so I don't have to worry about over-exfoliating my skin, and I much prefer the soft and fun texture of whipped soap to a bar of soap. This scrub had the classic summery scent of coconut and lime, and it gave me all of the summer vacation vibes right in my own bathroom as soon as I opened up the jar.

Grape Soda Bath Bomb, 7 oz - Retail Value $8

I can't tell you the last time I drank a grape soda, but I had no issues bathing in these fun purple waters. This scented my bathwater and the surrounding air with notes of grapes, peaches, pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, and vanilla.

Purple is my favorite color, so I really enjoyed the two different purple bath bombs we received this month.

Campfire Marshmallow Loofah Soap - Retail Value $9

I haven't used a loofah soap in a long time- I find them to be quite the effective exfoliator, and it is easy to overdo it on my more sensitive skin. If you have patches of really dry skin, though, like on your feet or knees, this type of soap is up for the challenge. I loved the sweet, smokey smell of the campfire marshmallow scent, too- I am a sucker for campfire-scented anything.

Orange Sherbet Bubble Bath, 9 oz - Retail Value $12

Bath Bevy knows how to make a really good quality bubble bath that both smells nice and produces copious amounts of bubbles without requiring you to dump half a bottle of product into your tub. I really liked the prominence of the sweet orange scent of this bubble bath and how it scented my bathroom as the tub was filling up, and I truly only needed a small amount to get my desired amount of bubbles.

Rocket Pop Bath Bomb, 7 oz - Retail Value $8

I also can't tell you the last time I had a rocket pop popsicle, but thinking about the classic summer treat when I saw this bath bomb made me smile at the nostalgia. It very much gave off Marvel vibes once I added it to water (though I can't decide if it's more Spiderman or Captain America), and the scent blend is a mix of blueberry, raspberry, grape, strawberry, peach, and lemon.

What do you think?

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

  • Berries & Cream Bath Bomb: $8
  • Soap Scrub: $15
  • Grape Soda Bath Bomb: $8
  • Loofah Soap: $9
  • Bubble Bath: $12

Everything in this box was handmade by Bath Bevy and the total added up to $60, which is about $10 more than the cost of the box once shipping is taken into account.

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box was fantastic and spot on. I really enjoyed the "Hello, Summer" theme, and all of the scents of the products inside really made connected me back to some summer memories I've made over the years. As a lover of baths I was stoked to see three bath bombs inside, but if you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription offer. This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products or just love self-care, this is a subscription box worth checking out.

I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
