First Impressions

I was very excited to see that this inflatable pool was available this month! With four kids, we have gone through our fair share of kiddie pools and they never seem to last for more than one season so I was excited for a grown-up version that my husband and I could possibly enjoy! Not only because it is more durable, but also because it is a bigger size than most small inflatable pools without being bulky or taking up too much of the yard.

Inside the Bespoke Post "Dip" Box

Inflatable Pool by Wren in Tie Dye Ochre - Retail Value $75

The pool arrived in its own plastic bag with three vinyl repair patches just in case. There were two separate rings to blow up, each with its own valve, and then another valve on the bottom to let the water out, which I thought was pretty clever and convenient! My son chose this tie-dye ochre color, but the koi one would have been my other choice; both are such fun designs!

To blow this one up, you actually can't use an air compressor, much to my chagrin, but the way the valve is designed, it allows you to add air manually (by mouth or bicycle pump, both of which I tried - mouth seemed to go a bit faster, actually) without letting the air back out. It definitely took a little bit of time to get it filled which is probably my only gripe with this pool - any sort of little pump or assistance would have been greatly appreciated!

It looked great and was such a nice size when it was all blown up! The actual measurements are 65"x15", but I was just excited to see that when I sat in it, my feet didn't even reach the end of the pool (swipe for proof)! For reference, I am about 5'7" and I was able to sit comfortably in this one.

My husband who is just over 5'11" was also able to fit comfortably inside this one and there was some space on the sides of him that could have accommodated me or a kid or two. Although, I think this will strictly be the adult pool! It does seem durable, made from heavyweight vinyl that is BPA, lead, and phthalate-free, and they even recommend filling it with ice and using it as a cooler, which could definitely work if you were in a pinch!

And there's this, just in case you're wondering what a 3-month-old looks like inside of the pool!

Value - Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $56.89

Value Breakdown: It is hard to say right now whether this pool is totally worth it because I think that longevity is going to play a part in that, but I am definitely excited that we saved a bit off of the original $75 price tag! Pools can be expensive and feel cheap, but this one feels durable to me and I have high hopes for it!

Key Takeaways

I can't wait to put this pool to use over the summer! It is such a great size for a "small" pool and I love that both my husband and I can fit comfortably inside it to cool down on a hot day! It is lightweight when blown up and easy to drain, so I think we will be able to get a lot of use out of it. I love the idea of having one pool for us and a smaller pool for our kiddos to play in. Other parents will understand that sometimes it's fun to not share!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I have an inflatable pool in my target cart for under $50 that’s quite a bit bigger than this and has seats in it. Not sure this is a great deal… cute baby, though!

I guess it’s fun that Bespoke offers so many different boxes for a wide range of clients and tastes but $57 for a blow-up pool that doesn’t come with some cheap device to inflate it seems… crazy.

Brandi, I appreciate your reviews and love watching your kiddos grow! Your new addition is adorable!

P.S. Additional concern is that that pool is deep for a child and it has no cover…

Thanks so much, Maddie in PA! 🙂 It is definitely deep for a child, but that’s why I’m glad it also has the valve/drain on the bottom of the pool to easily empty it when done! I am thinking it will be perfect for days when the kids have their sprinkler or water table out and my husband and I need a comfortable place to supervise them! 😉
