Did anyone get the Mudmasky? I was crossing my fingers but didn’t get it. I got the first 6 pictured plus the sponsored mini shampoo/conditioner, which also seems to be the same as the Amazon box.

Ugh! Well, I get 2 boxes – one that I have had for many years and one that I just started in December. They were identical. I would have thought that I would get at least something different in the second one. The only thing I am happy to have 2 of is the lip balm. Lol! It does smell of orange, and I also have an orange scented hand cream that I wear to bed, so I guess my bedroom smells like an orange grove. Lol! I have received so much of that Ghost Oil between Birchbox, some other subs, and now 2 from Allure.

Is anyone else getting 2 boxes? I got my April box and have had two emails saying my box has shipped since then. The shipping has also been VERY slow. One of then left Vegas (I’m in Oregon) 6 days ago and that’s last it’s moved.

I just got my box today and was happy that I didn’t get any products that I chose to skip previously. I was worried about that.
Can’t leave without a complaint though, lol. So I’ll say that the small $5 Walmart lip balm should not have counted as one of our full-size items. That is all.

While some of our items may look familiar to our past members, there are often different variations of each month’s box. All of our boxes contain Allure editor-curated products that are based on your member history, so you will not receive any repeat products that you’ve received in the past.

If you canceled your membership before, you will be considered a new member at the time of purchase and you will start a new box history again. I hope this helps!

I took about a 3 month break from allure as their boxes were getting bad, but decided to resign for may. I put in new card info as well on May 1st yet it appears I’ve been charged for an April box as well. I called them because I didn’t want the April box but they said they couldn’t Caldwell it even though it’s not left the warehouse yet. Since when do they charge for last months box when you resign? That is kinda ridiculous especially because other than the oil(which I know I can use on my body and hair as well a my face) &the beading cleanser which is awesome for body as well as face, especially if you’re eczema prone like I am on my hands I really have no interest in anything else in the box. But I’m excited for May’s box because I should be able to use everything in it!

Just resub’d, the code VIP15 is now working & charged me ONLY $15 for this months box!? I was a bit reluctant from the reviews I’m reading but I took a chance because the Resurfacing Serum is amazing-tried it before! I dropped them when they went to $23, so I haven’t gotten to try any since then! I’m actually excited! But, if they go Ipsy on me…I’m gone! I also hope their lip colors HAVE improved!? Was sick of ONLY getting red, fuchsia, pale nudes & pale pinks that washed me out! I can tweek the colors, but when reapplying, then it gets to be a pain! On a Boxy Note: My Boxy has been absolutely terrific the past 3 months in a row! 3 boxes & I can & will use EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN ALL 3 BOXES FOR ONCE👏🏼👍🏼😁😍😉I only hope the honeymoon lasts😉😁😂

They need to bring back the old teams from before August 2020 (mmm August/September 2020 was went it all went downhill imo) cus whoever’s in charge of selecting 2021-2022’s products in these boxes have no idea, or care, what their subscribers want. Feels like it’s more tailored towards what they personally want (if they really do choose the products) or they’re unable to get better items for some reason. Sometimes there’s at least 1 good item worth buying the box for but when the rest of the box is unwanted, I’d just skip it.

I am getting really, really fed up with Allure. When it was a $15 box, it didn’t really bother me if it was an off month for me, I stuck with it. With the price increase of the box and literally every single thing on the planet (thanks inflation), I am definitely trying to be much more mindful of my purchases. I’m starting to feel like Allure is almost manipulating the subscribers to not skip or cancel. Why? Well, if you skip a box because you don’t like the contents, you are now extremely likely to get stuck with them down the road as is evident with all these different and repeat products. So, it’s almost like you have to just suck it up and stick with it for the ability to get the truly new to the box products. And now, if you cancel, then resub when you see something you do want, it’s looking like you won’t get it as the new sub box has completely different products. I hope I’m making sense here.
I have always said my sub box purchases are supposed to be fun and a treat. When they start to become something else, it’s probably time to cancel. I think FOMO is literally the only thing keeping me here. And now this month is the worst on determining what I will actually get. Up until now, I basically knew what I should be getting because I haven’t canceled since back in 2019 and I’ve only skipped one box. I feel like they are doing the opposite of rewarding long time loyal customers. Why is it always like that? I’m sorry I’m being so negative. I have tried to stay positive with this box for a long time. I just feel like the stakes are higher now for the majority of us due to $$$$. This used to be a box where you could make an educated decision. Combine all the above with very late FULL spoilers (Allure was giving full spoilers of June at this time a while back), it just is the opposite of improvements. Smh. Again, I’m sorry for my rant. I know this is a very first world problem, but a lot of us do not have unlimited finances.

I left Allure for awhile now and started with looking fantastic box. I’ve been happy with them for the $19 price. They send high end products and larger sized samples. I like more skincare and less makeup. I too was a long term Allure subber, back when it was Sample Society” so at least 10 years. Allure does send many repeats. I never want to see another First Aid product again along with 6-7 of their constant repeats. I get “come back” emails all the time offering many extras but I know they are all old stock and I have no interest of coming back. I like trying other boxes instead.

This box was much better when it was $17. I have 3 full size Ahava hand creams at this time. I only use it at bedtime because it gunks up my phone. The U-Beauty was in a box last year. I wasn’t impressed. So neither the Amazon or Allure option is appealing. The above message indicates that existing members may receive the hand cream. And Amazon subscribers will receive it. I find it easier to subscribe through Amazon. It is so much easier to skip a box. I agree that Allure has a backlog of products from past boxes. Thus, the U-Beauty again. I really like the verb ghost oil. It works great when used sparingly.

I’m confused — the allure website lists a Mudmasky mask and a different moisturizer from Benton. Both of which look great! I guess you get those as allure subscribers? Or frankly I’m
Confused. The Amazon beriation looks ok — the lipgloss is fine and I’m not opposed to the retinol lotion. The sunscreen is always a yes please for me although we got one last month and a Sunday Riley one a few months back.
