First Impressions

Goddess Provisions does a beautiful job with packaging.

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme. This month's theme is "Rest to Refresh the Soul".

What's Inside This Box

Magical Memos Greeting Cards - Retail Value $12.00

I am quite the greeting card connoisseur, and this set is exactly what I look for when I need a blank card. They are eye-grabbing, colorful and beautiful. I love the color palette they used for each card, and I am happy that the majority of them do not say anything on the front. The weighty envelope has a slit on the back so you can slide it closed without having to moisten it or fasten it shut with tape, especially if you don't plan on mailing it.

Wax Seal Set - Listed Value $15.00

I have always wanted to do this, y'all.. you have no idea! The whole process was cathartic; when I was younger and watched movies where someone was sealing an envelope with a wax stamp, I was just mesmerized by the whole process, and considering that I have always loved sending and receiving mail, I am shook that I finally get to perform this ritual. The kit came with two candlesticks and a gold metal stamp with a wooden handle.

Because I enjoy being extra, I could not choose which color to use, so I lit both candles and let them melt over the envelope. The instructions said to wait a few seconds before sealing with the stamp, and it came out crystal clear and utterly perfect! I love the color swirling and the sound the stamp made when it left the wax. Chef's kiss to this experience and my new obsession!

My Retreat Journal - Listed Value $22.00

I am so into this retreat journal; it is a guided journal that prompts you into diving more deeply into your retreat, considering literally every aspect, then letting you dive further into detail when necessary. It is a beautiful little book with thin pages, so it is perfect for on the go, updating on your way. I am going to save this for when I have a little time off, and I am going to commit to a retreat to really relieve some stress and hopefully find a few truths along the way.

Goodio Wild Blueberry Chocolate - Retail Value $6.99

Yum! Dark chocolate and fruit are some of my favorite treats. I love chocolate-covered berries, but chocolate infused with fruity flavors (especially raspberry) is a close second. This chocolate bar is made with 61% cacao and blueberry powder giving it that subtle hint that makes it a unique taste experience. This bar is vegan, organic, and gone, baby, gone!

Chiky Botanics Forest Bathe Evergreen Mist - Retail Value $32.00

mist spray

What an aroma. I am in an evergreen forest surrounded by pines and firs, and... oh, wait, no, I am in my living room with my eyes closed, doused in this fabulous mist. It is such a potent, intoxicating scent; typically, I'd never reach for a scent that is borderline reminiscent of a Christmas candle, but this fragrance is on another level. Essential oils of fir needle, pine, cedarwood, cinnamon, bark, clove bud and orange make this a unique scent with amazing staying power. It has a more masculine, earthly scent that draws you in, and I can't get enough!

Red Tiger's Eye - Listed Value $4.00

This tiny stone carries a lot of calming and balancing energy. It can evoke passion and intimacy as well as vitalizing courage. This would be great to take to work, whether you're looking to be soothed during a stressful day or you're summoning the assertiveness you may need during an important meeting.

Goddess Provisions put out an epic February curation. I am hooked on this subscription, and I look forward to its surprises every month. It sent my inner child screaming when I got to use my new wax candles and stamp, and I can't get enough of the Chiky Botanica mist. I am truly looking forward to taking a retreat and filling out this very special journal and thoroughly enjoyed treating myself to some delicious organic dark chocolate. This month, in my opinion, has been the best I've seen, and I cannot wait to see what March brings! This month's box has a value of $92.20; that is a great value for a $33 box.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Ahh, I see that you are sporting a duochrome or multichrome nail polish!
I am very interested in the retreat journal but don’t know enough of the prompts to know if it is what I am looking for or not.

I am obsessed with multichromes right now; this one is Missed-Shift by Holo Taco — it is a stunner!

The Retreat Journal is up on the GP’s boutique for $22; I really think it goes in-depth about your retreat without requiring too much writing or effort on your part. I am really looking forward to filling mine out this spring 🙂 (The entire box is also for sale for $55, too, which may be worth it if you’re interested in the other finds from February.)
