Cat Lady Box is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $34.99 per month Cat Lady Box has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc., while the $39.99 per month Crazy Cat Lady Box contains everything from the Cat Lady Box plus a few items just for cats.
This is a review of the Crazy Cat Lady Box.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
First Impressions
As soon as the box arrives, you know your cat-loving heart is in for a good time. Everything arrives in a brown cardboard box with a black cat silhouette on it. Once you open it up, you can expect to find anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy Cat Lady box, you'll also get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
This box does come with an info sheet, and each month they feature custom artwork. This month's artist was Draw An.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside The March Crazy Cat Lady Box
First, let's meet the cat that will be helping me to review this box. If you've been reading my MSA reviews for a while, you may remember my old cat, Duchess. Duchess is no longer here with me, and after a few months, I felt ready to get another cat companion. Meet Sir Goose! I adopted him when he was one month and twenty-two days old, and he was 2.2 pounds. Now he is almost a year old and he loves toys- I have yet to find a toy he won't play with.
I can't believe how big Goose has gotten- he turns one on April 5th!
Stay Home With Cats Shirt - Listed Value $22.99
Cat Lady Box frequently sends shirts, and I personally find this green v-neck to be very comfortable. The yellow writing on the green background really gives me summer camp vibes for some reason (I was a camper as a child for seven years and a camp counselor as an adult for three more!) and I definitely agree with the sentiment- every day is a beautiful day to stay home with my cat.
Flat Cat Garden Kitty - Listed Value $18.99
I don't have a garden, and even if I did have a garden, I can't keep a plant alive (luckily it's a different story when it comes to cats). I still find this garden kitty to be incredibly charming, and it's a really unique item to include in a subscription box. I have a good friend who has a super green thumb, so I'll be bringing this the next time I go to her place in the hopes I can find it a loving home among some flowers and tomatoes.
Purrfect Cat Picnic Blanket - Listed Value $26.99
Well, I thought the garden kitty was a unique subscription box item, but this picnic blanket just takes things to a whole new level. First, I love how easily it folds up and how portable it is- it even has a handle when it's folded! This picnic blanket is waterproof so it should be easy to clean, and it also should protect me if I set up my picnic on damp grass. Has anyone ever seen anything this unique (and practical!) in a subscription box before?
Catnip Shamrock Toy - Listed Value $5.99
I love getting toys each month in this box and sharing the experience with Goose. This catnip-filled shamrock arrived just in time for St. Patricks Day, and the green stem makes it easy to dangle in front of Goose or hold it up to him like a flower.
He liked rubbing his face against the shamrock and eventually took it away from me to play with it on his own.
Spring Chick Catnip Toy - Listed Value $4.99
Okay, I personally think this spring chick is absolutely adorable- anyone else? The very round shape of this chick makes it perfect for Goose to bat it around, too.
I'm not quite sure what he was doing when he was playing with this, but he seemed really into it.
Goose didn't have a ton of photogenic moments with this month's Cat Lady Box, but he did enjoy investigating the new lights I used to get these photos.
He also tried to make himself the star of my Bath Bevy review, but since that isn't a cat-themed box, I figured it would be more appropriate to stick that photo here.
Value – Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $39.99 per month + free US shipping.

- Picnic Blanket: $26.99
- Shamrock Toy: $5.99

Everything in this box is unique to the subscription, so I have to go by listed values. The listed values add up to $79.95, which is double the cost of the box.
Key Takeaways
This is such a charming subscription box- I love that I get to share it with Goose, and I really love that the box features a good mix of practical items with a touch of whimsy. I am blown away by the thoughtfulness of the curation of this box- the picnic blanket and the garden cat are such unique items, and if I had a garden I could use them both to set up a lovely picnic in this beautiful spring weather while not actually going beyond my backyard (staying true to the theme of the shirt from this month's box, too). While you should take the listed values with a grain of salt, I absolutely feel like there was more than $39.99 of value in this box. If you have cats and/or like cat-themed things, I recommend checking this subscription box out. If you're looking for fun cat-themed items you can enjoy around your home and share with your feline friend, you're going to see a lot more value in this box than someone who is going strictly off of listed values (or who desires brand name products in a box).
