My pieces arrived in the regular mailer and were individually wrapped in plastic bags.
Now, on to the lingerie!
Is everyone ready for this month's exploration into how uncomfortable I can make myself in the name of "sexy"? Well, you better be. Because I actually grabbed an official VIP box this month. Sure, I usually mix and match two pieces into my ideal version of a VIP box. But this month was special. Because in addition to a sexy Savage x Fenty lingerie item, it also included a Fenty Beauty product in the first-ever collab between Rihanna's two lines! And who doesn't love a risque red teddy just in time for Valentine's Day? (Me, I am scared.)
Lace'd Up Teddy

Wow. This teddy is over the top. It is red AND magenta and features everything from lace to ribbons to sheer panels, grommets, and more. That being said, it literally screams Valentine's Day and I am here for it. As lingerie from this subscription always does, it feels a lot higher quality than you would expect. I think we are all used to the super cheap-themed holiday lingerie of bachelorette parties and Spencer's Gifts, but Rihanna ain't having none of that. This stuff is designed well and feels structured. There is the slightest difference in design between the straight and plus sizing but it is very minor and doesn't change the look of the piece like often happens when design changes like this are made. It also fits well (I ordered the 1X for bust coverage) and absolutely makes you feel good when you wear it. The only thing I would change is the ribbon tie halter because I often like my lingerie to give me a little extra lift in the bustline and this doesn't do that. It is still one heck of a look!

I would be lying if I said this wasn't the bigger reason I grabbed this VIP box. Sure, I love the teddy. But an exclusive shade of Gloss Bomb Heat? I am IN. This stuff does it all: glossifies, plumps, and adds a sheer hint of color. And the lavender is subtle and very flattering. If you have tried other tingling/warm lip plumpers and disliked them, I find this one is more gentle but still gets the job done.

Verdict
My Savage X Fenty VIP box was everything and more. The teddy is red hot and wearable, even though it is a little out of my comfort zone. That is why I love this box! And the lip gloss? I swoon. I have been wearing it daily and the barely-there color is a dream. And I got both for $49.95? This is a total win.
