What's Inside Our FabFitFun Spring 2022 Assortment

Choice 1

All subscribers were able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Alice + Olivia Daisy Print Duffel Bag + Bucket Hat
  • Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil in Royal Icing
  • Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper in Hot Cherry & Lemon Lava Bundle
  • Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Girl Next Door/Chic Phreak
  • L*SPACE Coastal Cooler
  • Morgan Lane Allie Robe in Navy Floral or White Floral
  • Caravan Home Lazy Susan – Wood
  • Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask With Prickly Pear Oil

What I Received: Morgan Lane Allie Robe in White Floral - Retail Value $198

This robe is an exclusive collaboration between FabFitFun and Morgan Lane. It is made of 100% polyester and has a delicate silky feel to it. The white and rose pink tones are so beautiful, I could see a bridal party wearing this while getting ready for the wedding. The robe itself is very lightweight so it's perfect for the warmer spring and summer weather. The tie itself doesn't stay closed very well, so I could see myself using this more as a layering item over pajamas. Unfortunately, I received this in the size S/M even though I have my sizes listed in my account as an L/XL. I am 5'9" so the length is pretty short on me and it just isn't staying closed well over my chest and hips. Even though I didn't select this item, I was excited to see it in my box because who doesn't want a cute silky robe, plus it is so comfortable (I could see myself napping and lounging in this) but was bummed once again when I saw the size error. Since this robe is beautiful, I decided to pass it along to my Mom. She was really excited and is going to take it with her on an upcoming beach trip.

Choice 2

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Farmacy Honey Halo Moisturizer
  • Perricone MD High Potency Classics: Face Finishing & Firming Moisturizer
  • ban.do Stemless Acrylic Wine Glass Set of Four with Glitter Infusion
  • Caudalie Vinopure Oil Control Moisturizer
  • Yoga Wake Up, Inc. 3 Months Audio Guided Yoga App Subscription + Acupressure Pillow
  • Splendid Faux Fur Slippers - Crystal Pink
  • Kate Spade Keaton Pouch Wristlet

What I Received: Perricone MD High Potency Classics: Face Finishing & Firming Moisturizer, 2 fl oz – Retail Value $69

While this wasn't my original selection, I was really excited to see this in my box! My skin is naturally very dry so when I see a product that will deeply moisturize and give me a dewy finish I am all in. This rose-scented moisturizer is made with DMAE to instantly firm your skin, vitamin E to minimize the look of discoloration to create a more even skin tone, and Kukui nut seed oil hydrates your skin without leaving it feeling greasy. It also works to plump and firm skin’s appearance over time. I don't know if it was the rose scent or another ingredient, but my skin did not like this moisturizer. The first time I used it my skin started burning instantly. I used it the next morning alone to see if maybe it was reacting with another product, but my skin had that intense burning sensation again right away. I also didn't feel that this left my skin dewy or moisturized, instead, my skin felt very tight and dry (this feeling lasted all day), and I noticed that my makeup didn't last as well throughout the day. Just based on the burning, this unfortunately is a pass for me.

Choice 3

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Pore Exfoliating Treatment
  • Prive Revaux The Juliet Black Sunglasses
  • Kate Spade Mini Small Square Studs - Opal Glitter
  • Erin Condren Design Stationery Bundle
  • Gaiam Ultimate Core Toning Kit
  • Shoshanna Umbrella

What I Received: Silked Anti-Aging Silk Pillow Sleeve & Eye Mask - Retail Value $89.50

This item wasn't listed in any of the category spoilers so it wasn't an item that I selected, unfortunately. I have always wanted to try a silk pillowcase, though, so I was excited to give this set a try. The pillowcase is open-ended so it just slips over your standard pillowcase. It is made with 100% silk charmeuse front, 95% Rayon, and 5% spandex non-slip back. The benefit of these pillowcases is to prevent bedhead, dry/frizzy hair, skin creases, fine lines, and skin irritations. I have only used this a few times, but I have noticed a big difference in my curls come day two or three of not washing, they still look fresh and defined without being flat and frizzy. The eye mask is made with 100% luxurious mulberry silk to not only block out light but also help to retain your skin's natural oil and reduce eye creases and fine lines. I don't love eye masks mainly because they tend to crease my hair when I sleep. I also find them to be a bit too tight and irritate me as I sleep, so I end up taking them off in the middle of the night. I have tried using these for naps, but again, they just really mess with my curls. I am also basically an Olympic gold medal winner at sleeping, I can fall asleep anywhere in less than 2 minutes, so I haven't ever found a need for an eye mask. My husband, however, loves using eye masks! He is a light sleeper so they really help him. I passed this along to him and he is obsessed! He said that it fits really well without being too tight, the silk is cooling and makes his skin feel really nice rather than some other masks he has used where they tend to irritate his eye area over time.

Choice 4

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • It’s A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product
  • It’s A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin
  • It’s A 10 Coily Miracle Leave-In
  • Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Sweet Citrus
  • Favor Spoon Rest

What I Received: It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin, 4 fl oz - Retail Value $23

This was a product that I really wanted! I love all of the It's A 10 products that I have tried so I was really excited to give this keratin leave-in a try. I should start by saying that my hair is very curly and very long. It has a good amount of damage from coloring it, it gets tangled and knotted very easily, and can be a frizzy mess depending on the weather. Brushing through it can take 20 minutes sometimes depending, again, on the weather or just how knotted it is. I've used this a few times already and I am obsessed! I have been spraying this on from about midsection to the ends of my hair and I am just gliding right through even my heaviest knotted areas. Using this leave-in has actually cut my brushing time in half! It is also improving the overall texture of my hair and I've noticed less frizziness, which I really appreciate! I can't wait to see how this product holds up when my hair is at its worst in the hot humid Pittsburgh summer.

Choice 5

Annual subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box.

  • Gemelli Jenna Clip
  • EVENPRIME Hypernova Dark Circle Reducer Eye Serum
  • Earth Harbor GLOW JUICE Refining Enzyme Mask
  • Sorbus Makeup Organizer
  • Too Faced Hangover Good in Bed Ultra-Replenishing Hydrating Serum

What I Received: Too Faced Hangover Good in Bed Ultra-Replenishing Hydrating Serum, 0.98 fl oz - Retail value $39

This was another item that was not listed in any of the spoilers. Since this wasn't a product that I had researched during the spoilers and wasn't one that I selected, I wasn't sure what to think of it. I have a love-hate relationship with hyaluronic acid serums only because they tend to dry me out for some reason. I have used this serum for a few days now, but I haven't decided how I feel about it. I have to say that I haven't really noticed a big difference in the hydration level of my skin, I'm almost feeling a bit drier since I started using this. I also find this serum to be very sticky when I first apply it so I really need to give it time before I apply my next product. This serum contains vitamin B5, yogurt probiotics, 2 different HAs, and dragonfruit. It works to attract and retain moisture, provides long-term hydration, soothes skin, replenishes skin, smoothes, softens, and plumps your skin. Did anyone else receive this product? I am going to keep using this product for a few more days to see if it improves the overall hydration of my skin, but I am interested to hear how everyone else is feeling about this product. Let me know in the comments!

Sixth Choice Item(s):

Annual subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box.

  • Hourglass Ambient™️ Strobe Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra
  • The Nue Co. Topical C
  • Milly Jewelry Case
  • Butter London Teddy Girl Eyeshadow Palette
  • Coach Open Circle Necklace and Tea Rose Stud Set
  • In The Stars Lip Oil, Cuticle Crème Pen Bundle
  • Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar, Hair Scarf Bundle
  • Cuticle Pen, Hand Scrub Elderflower 75mL, Double Act Shadow Stick Bundle
  • Double Act Shadow Stick, In The Stars Lip Oil, Daily Facial Dry Brush Bundle

What I Received: Eyeko Double Act Shadow Stick, Winky Lux In The Stars Lip Oil, Daily Concepts Daily Facial Dry Brush Bundle - Retail Value $63

Choice 6 is always packed full of items and it usually includes bundles. I received this three-product bundle, but unfortunately, was not what I had selected. The facial dry brush is made with vegan bristles and a beechwood handle. They recommend using it on clean dry skin every morning before applying your skincare routine. Dry brushing helps to plump and awaken your skin while aiding in lymphatic drainage. I love dry brushing my body and have found that it really helps my skin, but I wasn't loving the way this brush felt on my face. My skin is very sensitive and dry and this just felt like I was scratching at my skin, which left my skin looking flaky and dry after using. The next item in the bundle is this beautiful lip oil! This oil has been giving my dry lips life! I have been using it at night before bed and am seeing such a big improvement in the overall texture of my dry winter lips. This oil is made with avocado, sunflower, olive, and jojoba oils. The last item in the bundle is this creamy double shadow stick. You can easily go from a light day look to a smokey eye with a quick swipe and blending from this one stick. I usually love cream-based shadows because you can blend them with your fingers so easily, but I wasn't loving that this was a stick. I wasn't able to get the coverage that I wanted and it just wasn't going on my skin well so I wasn't getting even coverage to work with. All in all this bundle fell a bit short for me with three products that I'm not sure I will get a ton of use out of besides the lip oil which I am loving.

Verdict

This was my first FabFitFun box, and I was beyond excited to receive my Spring box once all of the spoilers were released. I am so sad to say that this box really fell short for me. I think the exciting part about this box really was the spoilers and the idea that I would be able to make my own box selections from a really nice list. I researched the products and thought about what I would pick - only for selection day for annual subscribers to come and nothing be left. I also received some products that weren't even included in the spoiler list. While the product selection process wasn't the best, I will say that the value really is there. For only $49.99 per box, I received a retail value of $481.50 in products! That is a crazy value! The products are all really great quality, I think a lot of them just didn't work for me personally, but that doesn't mean that they aren't good products. I know that I will be gifting so many of these products because I can see by the reviews that they are good products. I was sad that the robe didn't come in the size that I selected in my account, but I was happy to pass it along to my Mom. Overall, I was underwhelmed by my first box, but seeing the retail value makes me excited to give this box another chance. So I am holding onto hope that the summer box might be a bigger success for me! Let me know in the comments if this month was a winner for you!

It is absolutely insane to me that the price of that robe is $198. It makes it seems like it’s a great, high value box but really half of that is a crazy overpriced robe that you could buy at Walmart.

I might be in the minority here but I loved this box! The winky lux lip oil is amazing. It has made my lips so soft and I love hi how it feels going on. It is not sticky at all. I also love that 2 Fenty lip losses. They are plumpers as well! I love how tingly they make my lips and I love the sheer colors. They can be put on top of lipstick as well. I got the stationary set as well and it is really cute. There are a bunch of different cards that can be used for any occasion with the inside being blank. They are perfect for any occasion especially when I just want to say a friend a generic message letting them know that I am thinking of them. I also received the Perricone moisturizer and although I haven’t opened it, I have had this in the past and I love it. It is expensive
in the stores so I love that I can get it in this box. It’s a 10 miracle leave in spray is a great product that I often buy so it was another great deal getting it in my fab fit fun box. I haven’t tried the cuticle cream or the dark circle reducer eye serum yet. Overall I was very happy with the sparks and its value.

I am upset because I never received a message from FFF to choose products for my box. I checked & rechecked & no message so I am sure I will get products that I don’t want/ like. Sure I can give them away but that is not my point. So I will have to wait & see, if I am not satisfied I will cancel & choose a different sub to try.

I just received my box and I am very disappointed. I am an annual member and so got to choose all my items, but two of the items were not what I chose. Going to contact them and see what happened and nay cancel my membership.

Mandi

Did anyone else get a small square box instead of the regular sized FFF box? This is the first time I’ve got this one and I was surprised.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Was yours still the yellow decorated style? I want to say about a year ago FFF revealed that they were going to make the boxes themselves more eco-friendly, including using less ink for the decoration and making different/smaller sizes for when those could be used, vs just using a bigger box and more packaging material. So maybe it was that?

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

@Mandi – then I think it’s part of their sustainability efforts. I found the original announcement just in case you want to read it: https://support.fabfitfun.com/?a=Our-Sustainability-Efforts—id–bEPyTOFrQuaydMiCPHVonw. They talk about different box sizes in there (a quote: “You may receive your items in a small, medium, or large-sized box depending on your box variation!”).

Mandi

Yea it’s yellow with the rainbow pattern, just a small square size instead of rectangle. It’s a normal spring box, not a free intro box or anything either. I was really surprised when I saw it.

Diann Karnitsky

This was the worst box they have done in the 3-4 years I have been a member. The A&O was a repeat item. My annual subscription is now over and I am stopping.

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

They started these “throwback” choices for new subscribers that didn’t get them or old members that loved them and wanted more. There was a Facebook post January 2020 calling it a “member perk”

It looks like this is simply a new way of doing influencer/promo boxes. Judging from the review on Hello Subscription, you all received identical items (including those that were not options for subscribers). Hope this clears some of the confusion up for you. https://hellosubscription.com/2022/02/fabfitfun-spring-2022-box-review-coupon/

Holy crap. This is the most bizarre review in the world. And Taryn please don’t think I’m putting that on you. It seems like you are just as lost. What I’m not understanding is why MSA (not you specifically Taryn) can’t clear this all up. Is MSA really in such incapable hands that no one working here told Taryn what was going on? Did you guys just throw Taryn to the wolves on this one because that’s what it feels like. It’s pretty crystal clear that this is a PR Box and not the one you selected choices for. What I don’t understand is this-did MSA not say to you, “hey Taryn you’ll be reviewing FFF this time. Here’s what will happen, you will do (insert whatever procedures MSA uses when reviewing boxes) and you will receive a PR Box that does not contain your actual choices for review. Please review the PR Box using this criteria (provide list of criteria). You will also get to make choices for a 2nd box. Please review that box using (insert instructions here).” Like what in the world?!?! You say that Megan always got to make choices and from her NUMEROUS past reviews it’s clear there is some system in place there to review FFF. Why weren’t you given the template for how the FFF review works at MSA? I’ve literally never seen anything like this. Also, if you made choices for a different box, can you not log into your account and see if that box has shipped/is still coming/exists at all/was changed/etc? While I’m not trying to be hard on you because I feel like you weren’t properly instructed here, I’m finding it a little strange that you can’t find any explanation at all from customer service or quite frankly from MSA. Shouldn’t the CEO (or somebody) have already chimed in here with an explanation? Do you not have an account to log into to see what is up? This is bizarre.

Michelle

Oh my gosh AMEN, JojoB!!! Why do I feel like I always know more than the employees on this website? I miss the old days when this is where I came to get ALL the info. Not give it.

Taryn

Thank you for the feedback. I’ll try to do better with my next review.

Taryn

Thanks so much for your comments! Everything was passed along to me from the team here. We all switch boxes and take on new boxes all of the time and transitions are usually very smooth. I’ve been writing for MSA since 2017, taking on a new box, getting an account setup, and so on is usually pretty seamless. We honestly aren’t sure if this is a PR box or not because usually PR boxes are filled with products that were featured in the spoilers. I do have an account through FFF, my box status hasn’t changed and I haven’t received any additional communication if a second box will be coming. I think we are all trying to put the pieces together and see what happened and how to fix it for the summer box. I think we aren’t really sure what went wrong since we have had years of seamless boxes and selections happening over the years. Hopefully the summer box and my review will be better and less confusing. I really hope though that my review doesn’t show poorly for the team at MSA, my words are just what I experienced and without communication or emails or insight within my account, it is hard to piece it together. Was it a PR box, was it lack of inventory? I’m really not sure, but I can assure you that the team at MSA work very closely together to give the best of the best. I am very sorry if my review is creating confusion, I hope my followers know that I always try to be clear and honest over the years. I’ll work to get this all figured out and do better next time.

JoJoB

Okay none of this makes sense. To be fair, it is not just about the products. FFF is an experience box and part of that experience includes getting to make your choices along with the products. Having a review of a box that does not contain any of the products the rest of us will be receiving is a big deal. Plus, this still isn’t making any sense. When you log into your account, does it say your box has shipped? Does it show the items you picked as the items you will receive or have your choices (the choices showing on the screen when you log into your account) been replaced with the items you actually received? I mean I don’t understand the disconnect here. There is no way in the world that the box you made choices for on choice day is the same one that showed up on your doorstep THE SAME DAY. I mean we are all in agreement there, right?

Also, please stop apologizing in your follow up comments. You don’t seem to be the issue here. It is pretty clear MSA didn’t explain things properly to you. And I hate that you are taking these comments as personal criticism. Please understand they are not aimed at you AT ALL but rather the MSA team that even allowed this review to be posted in the first place. When you say above that you hope your review doesn’t show poorly for the team at MSA I have to say they are doing that all on their own.

Also, you mention in your review that you tried all the products yet you say you will give most of them away as gifts in the final wrap up. You say the products have great reviews so they must be great products but then you say they were not good products. I feel like there is something going on in the background here that we are not privy to. Almost as if MSA is gaslighting you or something. I’m going to leave it here because this whole thing is just bizarre, but I hope the take away is that you are not the issue here so please don’t think that is where the criticism is being aimed. You have nothing to apologize for.

Taryn

We do and have had communication about this box since January. Which is probably another reason why I was honest about my feelings in this review about my experience. We will be reaching out to our contact again though and will hopefully have more information soon. I want to note as well for everyone that while this whole experience might be confusing, I think it is important to still see the main issue for this box is really the products. I just didn’t have a good experience with the products, and would feel that way if this box just came to me as is from another company. I try to highlight that in the review and I think that might be getting lost in these comments that a lot of my experience was that the products just weren’t great

Sherri

Taryn – does MSA have a point of contact at FFF that you can reach out to for clarification – whoever at FFF is the person who handles PR/sending boxes to reviewers? If you got all the info MSA had collectively, then clearly FFF failed to communication some essential information to you/MSA. I think at this point a lot of us are just plain confused and curious to know what the deal actually is (I’m guessing you are curious to know that as well lol!).

cheryl

I don’t miss FFF at all. Not worth it at all.

One of the worst FFF boxes IMO. Sold out on many items for annual subscribers is a huge disappointment & the items available were pretty blah anyway.

Reply ButtonReply

kel brite

Really, they probably shouldn’t send out these PR boxes. I’m new to Fabfitfun and wouldn’t have signed up if I just read the review. It sounds terrible

Reply ButtonReply

AH

I’m honestly wondering after reading everything in the comments if you won’t receive additional box with your actual selections.
Also, I do really think that the review needs to be updated. As it stands, it really could make potential subscribers not subscribe because they think they won’t get their selections. Having to read the comments to understand the entirety of the situation isn’t something that everyone is going to do.

Taryn Lowman

I am curious to see if this happened to anyone else? It does seem a bit odd that it just happened to me, unless it really is PR box related? While I don’t want to make anyone not want this box, I do wonder if this might be something that is happening with this current Spring box? Just want to keep everything as open and honest as possible for everyone!

EMF999

Hi Taryn – you were not the only one who did not receive the items selected. I am an annual subscriber and was so confused when I received my boxes (one the annual subscription and one add-on) as I did not receive any of the items I selected when I customized. It was a big disappointment as I had managed to snag one of the Kate Spade wristlets and was really looking forward to receiving the other items selected. The annual box had all of the really low-value selections and to be honest, very little that I could use. The add-on was actually far better but was still on the very low-end value-wise. So I called CS who were extremely nice to deal with and they at least tried to make it right. Unfortunately, none of the items I had actually selected appeared to be available and again, just the very inexpensive items were left and nothing that I actually wanted.

What was interesting is that I am unable to access the link showing “my box” so something odd is going on. I asked CS several times if they knew what had gone wrong but I did not get a response to that so going forward, I will take a screenshot after I have made my selections.

I’ve been an annual member for about five years and have always been really happy with it but the Spring box was a huge disappointment. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a minor nit but it does make me question if I want to keep the subscription.

Chillybeans

Did you reach out to FFF customer service to ask? I have to say, this is a really confusing review.

kate

Totally agree. Review needs to be updated to clarify this situation.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Ok, so Taryn’s comments really help clarify. 1) This was a PR box, for which FFF made all the selections (and since they don’t use profiles to select sizes, she got a robe in a random size which happened to not be her size). 2) The non-spoiled items most likely were originally planned for inclusion in the box, but then pulled before spoilers were released due to supply chain issues. This has happened before and influencers were still sent the originally planned items (IMHO not a wise move on FFF’s part bc it leads to confusion, but what do I know, lol). My guess is that we will see the Silked pillow sleeve/eye mask and Too Faced serum in the summer box, or perhaps in an upcoming edit sale.
I 100% agree with Joy that it would be helpful to update the post to clarify – right now it sounds in many parts like Taryn’s selections were completely disregarded by FFF (which would be concerning of course) when in reality Taryn actually make any selections (other than in her head lol).

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Update – from a recent additional comment, it looks like Taryn did make selections, but after her PR box shipped. Knowing that the article and how it was drafted make some more sense. BUT – other commenters have reminded me that in the past reviewers have been able choose their items in their PR box. I recall that Megan reviewed (in the same seasons) a few “curated” boxes – like, a beauty one, a go to the beach one (which might not be right but that was the concept), etc. I wonder if somehow the info on when/how to customize a PR box never found its way to Taryn?

Reply ButtonReply

Sorry for any confusion with the review, but I am equally confused with it. I know that Meghan was always able to make her box selections, even if it wasn’t exactly what she wanted. I just never even had a chance to. I didn’t get any communication about my box really to know if it is considered a PR box or if those are even handled differently. I just try to be as honest as possible within the review and really the customization part is what, I think, makes this box so special, and without that and without knowing the why I wasn’t able to do that is sort of hard to really enjoy the box fully. I wish I had more clarity for everyone!

Joy

Hi Taryn-if your box arrived the day that annual customization opened, you might want to add that to the review. It explains lots of things, so it would help to clarify that FFF didn’t get your box customization all wrong, but instead, for whatever reason your box is outside the normal parameters of regular subscriptions. It could also explain the products that weren’t in the spoilers. Maybe they were planned to be, but sufficient stock wasn’t available? FFF definitely has their issues, especially with shipping, but based on your review above, but also your comment below, it looks like they totally screwed up your box customizations, when you (for whatever reason-PR maybe?) had an uncustomized box shipped much earlier than the rest of ours. Maybe I’m just confused? Joy

Reply ButtonReply

I honestly wish I had more answers as to what happened with my box. I don’t know for certain if it was because my box is considered a PR box, but I know in the past Meghan has been able to make selections without any issues. Even if she wasn’t able to select what she really wanted, she was always able to still make selections of some sort. If you look at her past reviews she even selected only beauty products to make it a beauty focused review. I can absolutely update to make the review more clear, but I think I am just as confused and without a clear understanding of why this happened with my box its hard to really clarify.

Reply ButtonReply

Maddie in PA

I agree, Joy. Reading through the entire review, start to finish, it sounded like many of the items Taryn rec’d weren’t close to what she’d selected for herself so, if the box was “customized” by FFF and sent before the window for customization was even open, it’s not fair to put that on FFF for not considering her choices when building her box.

That said, this has only added more confusion (and with subs, confusion=frustration=dissatisfaction) so this review either needs some clarification or FFF needs to stop sending PR boxes in advance of selection time.

Now I’m leery of even trying this box again right now.

Anyone else having shipping issues with this one? My box lists that it shipped on 2/6 but tracking hasn’t moved since then…

Yes! Mine shipped 2/26 and has sat in the Grand Husky warehouse since 3/8. It had a delivery ETA of 3/15. Its now 3/17 and no updated ETA. You can’t even get through to Grand Husky customer service, they are horrible! I contacted FFF and they said they aren’t using Grand Husky after Spring 2022 and if I don’t get it by 3/21 they will ship a new one to me. Such crap. I have a feeling I will never get my box and then the replacement won’t be the items I got.

On the app, I can see it says to allow up to 1 week for your tracking to show movement. I suppose you can contact CS since it has been more than 1 week for your box.

Hi Taryn – just FYI FFF doesn’t use the profile info (like size info) when preparing boxes. If there are products like the robes that are sized, they list each size as a separate item and you have to select your particular size during customization. If you end up selecting a mystery surprise, you may end up with a wrong size item bc FFF just views that as any other product.

Ah that makes sense! I think I am just bummed because I wouldn’t have selected this item, but if I had then it sounds like I would have been able to select my size during that process. Thanks so much for the info!

I’m not trying to be rude, but how do you seem to know so little about FFF? It’s your job to review this subscription, yet you seem completely in the dark about how it works… sorry but that is just so disappointing.

Carrie

I’m so confused! Why did you get things you didn’t select or things that weren’t even listed as options? I’ve been a member for 2 years and this has never happened to me. I think you can complain about that.

It was the strangest thing, when customization opened, I made my selections, and then within an hour, my box was at my door. Obviously not with anything that I had selected since I did it that day.

Taryn – I believe most influencers get their box in advance of regular customization (I’ve seen early unboxings on YT), I presume to help subscribers decide on items. So it makes sense you got your PR box early. But I would think there would be a selection process for those PR boxes before regular customization opened?

Snow

I think we all want to know the answer to this!

I really wish I had some answers for everyone. I’m honestly not sure what happened here, but I didn’t get it as early as some of the influencers that have done unboxing on their channels. So I’m really not sure. I do wish that I had a chance to make selections, I think that would have helped the review. I think a lot of these products would be great for the right person, but they just didn’t work for me. Sorry I don’t have more insight for everyone!

I’m also somewhat confused, but I think she meant that she had decided what she wanted from spoilers, but when she went to actually select the items on selection day, they weren’t available anymore. At least that’s what I took from her comments at the end of the review.

Sorry for any confusion! My box arrived the day I was able to make customizations, so my box came before I even was able to make them.

Amber )-(

It’s a pr box those don’t always involve doing normal customization.

But that’s so weird, MSA reviewers have always got to pick their boxes haven’t they? I’ve never seen anything like this from FFF before. It’s too bad she wasn’t able to pick what she wanted, someone should reach out to FFF and find out what’s going on cause this can’t be good from a PR standpoint lol. Being sent random things that weren’t in spoilers and wrong size items is so strange, something must have went wrong. Sorry this happened on your first box Taryn, what would you have picked if you had been able to select for yourself?

Taryn Lowman

I am wondering if it was just a PR box thing as well that maybe I’m just not able to make my own customization.

Sherri

I *think* Taryn may have selected the “mystery surprise” for some categories? That would explain the non-spoiled items.

I’m very confused too and will be very unhappy if I don’t get my choices as an annual.

I have 2 annual subscriptions to FFF. I have received both of my Spring boxes and I received all of the items that I selected during customization. No issues.
