Vellabox is a monthly candle subscription! Every month they send you quality, small-batch, toxin-free, hand-poured candles. As of December 2021, the brand’s pricing structure has changed: Monthly and 3-month subscribers will now pay $18 for a 4 oz. candle and free gift; $28 for an 8 oz. candle and free gift; or $38 for a 16 oz. candle and gift. Subscribers will also now be able to customize their box to their scent preferences and receive candles curated for them.

Vellabox always comes with a candle nestled inside a drawstring pouch. Included are info cards with more info on the candle, the surprise item, and the brands behind both!

I love a good red blend. Cheap, expensive, I honestly don't care. Something about a woodsy and jammy glass really does it for me, especially when it is cold outside! This candle has notes of berries, wood, and ripe red cherries! I normally don't love a berry scent of any kind, but these notes do come together to form a truly delightful and very accurate red wine scent. This is from the Vellabox collection of candles and I have found that they do a great job with candle-craft. I mean, it is a brand that is literally over the top passionate about candles. Of course, their own creations would be amazing! In typical fashion, this soy candle burns brightly, and evenly. And the tart wine fragrance floats around my first floor beautifully!

These mini recipe cards are adorable. I love the speckled paper! They are great for passing along your fave holiday recipes or taking along to your next party, where you can write down someone else's!
Value – Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $20
Vellabox isn't one of those subscriptions with some insane value, but rather a great way to spend the right amount of money on a single, high-quality candle. I always feel like this box is fair in pricing and the extra little surprise adds more value! Regardless, even at this older pricing structure, I still snagged a great $24 candle for $22 including shipping. I'll take that!
