First Impressions

Goddess Provisions does a wonderful job with packaging.

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme. This month's theme is "Winter Solstice".

What's Inside This Box

Fuzzy Dream Socks - Listed Value $12.00

I absolutely love receiving socks in subscription boxes. This cozy pair has embroidered hourglasses with a cheerful blue and periwinkle striped pattern. My family thinks this is weird, but I live in socks 24/7 (anyone else out there?). I can't stand having cold feet, especially in bed, and cozy socks are an absolute must, especially in the winter. My feet are a standard size 7.5, and this pair fits perfectly.

LitRituals Icy Glow Candle - Listed Value $10.00

Clove and eucalyptus lend their subtle scent, and when this candle is lit the results are a relaxing, settling blend that really does remind me of what winter should smell like. It is crisp and refreshing, truly a scent you couldn't get sick of. It seems like this handmade soy candle will burn evenly, so I should have plenty of time to enjoy it. I ended up dusting off the decorative excess salt before lighting; it probably could have stayed on to melt with the rest of the wax, but I am a safety-first nerd, so it had to go.

Celestial magic Ritual Lighter Case - Listed Value $33.00

I feel so fancy using a lighter case over my 10-year-old incense and eyeliner lighter. It was a very quick and easy makeover. It fits perfectly over a normal-sized Bic lighter and it looks great! I am impressed with the fine embellishments and peekaboo star details. This cover makes using a lighter more exciting, and it looks great sitting on my vanity.

Coconut Cream Dark Chocolate Bar - Listed Value $6.50

I didn't think I'd enjoy this treat, simply because I love dairy and refined sugars, but this is delicious. Sweetened with coconut sugar and caramelized coconut milk, this is everything you want in a dark chocolate bar. It has the classic dark chocolate taste, and its texture is perfectly creamy.

Yum!

Clear Quartz Ring - Listed Value $44.00

If this ring were a quarter of its size, it would be 100% my style. I never wear oversized jewelry, but I am also very open to new things. Teardrop stones are my absolute favorite, and the large quartz crystal is stunning. The silver metal pairs really well with quartz, too. This is one-size-fits-all and is easily adjustable.

Blue Chalcedony - Listed Value $4.00

For a tiny stone, this reflective beauty has a fair amount of personality. It has a blue hue with lacy brown bands and a glossy sheen. This stone is known to ward off negativity and may create a balance, aiding in harmony. It is nurturing and promotes peace, so it is perfect for this holiday season.

Verdict

Goddess Provisions had a sweet, thoughtful curation this month. Anyone who knows me knows that I am the queen of cozy, and this box screams cozy. My favorite items this month are the gold lighter case, the fuzzy socks, and the delectable chocolate bar. I've come to realize the quality that Goddess Provisions puts into its branded items, and I am absolutely loving this subscription. This month's box has a value of $109.50; that is a great value for a $33 box.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

To be honest, I didn’t feel like the socks were very good quality, and certainly not worth $12. I have been buying fuzzy socks at CVS for 99 cents, and they were fluffier than these. I do agree about always wearing socks. I guess I wear open toed shoes in the summer when I can, but for the most part I always have socks on.

I like this month’s stone. The chocolate bar was ok. The ring is hideous, and the lighter case is ok, but I already have one they sent a few months ago, and I really don’t use lighters. The candle was probably the star item for me.

Abby, you must have the largest and coolest assortment of socks! They always seem to find a way to you lol. Don’t you normally include a picture of you wearing the socks? Not necessary I know….they are socks for Peet’s sake. I always enjoy reading the reviews for this subscription. ☺️🧦

Haha, I had some sock modeling photos ready, but they were just not doing my feet any justice. XD
