Admittedly, the robe or the blanket might have been more appropriate for this theme, but I had received and reviewed those before, and when I saw this tote, my mind immediately went to hauling presents and wine bottles to holiday parties. It is a perfect size! And this ash rose shade could easily be described as "sugar plum"! Herschel is a great brand known for its sturdy and timeless bags and backpacks. The canvas of this tote feels thick and rugged, but the overall look is simple and chic. There are a few internal slots for smaller goods and the zipper is finished with a faux leather tab. This is also a great size for your beauty/shower items if you plan a weekend getaway. Maybe to a cozy snow-covered cabin? Or, preferably, a warm beach.

Though I treat the entire year as if it was candle season, Winter is really the candle queen at my home. We literally only blow them out before bed or before we leave the house. It just doesn't feel right to face the cold without the glow of a candle. This set is delightfully festive and very sassy. I loved the pink and the red candles, though the green was a choco-mint that I just couldn't stand as someone who isn't a fan of "food" scents. The pink has a cinnamon and berries vibe while the red smells like evergreen needles and patchouli. Luckily, these little votives are extremely giftable depending on your scent preferences.

Who doesn't want just a little bit of sparkle during the holidays? This stud set makes it easy and you can even double up if you have multiple piercings. One is a large clear CZ with bejeweled prongs. The other is a pearl cabochon also with a twinkling setting. Both are set in a gold finish and are sizable enough to be noticeable, while still being demure.

This oil has an odd name, but the goal here is to tighten and nourish the skin, giving it a firmer appearance. And with so many lipid-rich oils (jojoba, apricot kernel, rice, and more) combined with essential oils from clary sage, cypress, juniper, and grapefruit, it smells as good as it feels. It is one of those sorts of oils that feels extra warm in your hands and literally provides instant calm and relief to your arms and legs. You can also put a few drops of this in a bath and even on cuticles, dry elbows, and more. My skin did indeed look smoother and more toned after using this, especially on my calves.

Sheet masks will always be one of those very easy pampering things that never get old for me. And this trio arrived with a cranberry + apple scent and filled with skin-loving probiotics all delivered in. creamy serum on a well-fitting mask. Because this box arrives with three, you can totally share these with friends, or.. maybe not. I won't tell.

I always find the last choice confusing since they started offering single items or bundles. I also didn't have access to many of the choices below at the time that we built this box. You can either choose from a single item or pick a bundle of a few items. Here are the choices:

When I made the selections for my box, there were very few options, which was my main reason for selecting this bundle. I think they must have added more later which is great because this last choice really made the rest of my curation lose cohesion for sure. I mean, yes, I will use the file and I will also probably try (and fail) to make hot chocolate bombs, but can you ever imagine me willingly choosing a black eyeliner?
Verdict
FabFitFun always has options for everyone, and this curation of little luxuries felt very holiday-appropriate and, well, like little treats for myself or whoever I share these goodies with. I always feel like a broken record when I say in a FFF wrapup that this subscription is so customizable, it can be anything you want. Now, you have a better chance at all the item options as an annual subscriber, which can add a slight damper if something you want sells out. But I find there are always a couple of things that catch my eye in each category (omitting the last one because it always feels random!!). All in all, this is a great sub for anyone who values the ability to customize their box, loves a wide variety of options, and enjoys the little pleasures of each season.
