Cat Lady Box is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $34.99 per month Cat Lady Box has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc, while the $39.99 per month Crazy Cat Lady Box contains everything from the Cat Lady Box plus a few items just for cats.
This is a review of the Crazy Cat Lady Box.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
First Impressions
As soon as the box arrives, you know your cat-loving heart is in for a good time. Everything arrives in a brown cardboard box with a black cat silhouette on it. Once you open it up, you can expect to find anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy Cat Lady box, you'll also get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
This box does come with an info sheet, and each month they feature custom artwork. This month's artist was Ruth Arietta.
We also received a note about the annual holiday box coming in December- I'm not sure what to expect, but I am excited.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside The November Crazy Cat Lady Box
First, let's meet the cat that will be helping me to review this box. If you've been reading my MSA reviews for a while, you may remember my old cat, Duchess. Duchess is no longer here with me, and after a few months, I felt ready to get another cat companion. Meet Sir Goose! I adopted him when he was one month and twenty-two days old, and he was 2.2 pounds. Now he is almost eight months old, and he loves toys- I have yet to find a toy he won't play with. Now, let's dive into my November box from Crazy Cat Lady!
Cats > People Shirt - Listed Value $22.99
I would indeed choose cats over people (every time), so this shirt is perfectly appropriate for me. It’s comfy, too! I sized up after last month's sweater was a touch too snug, and this fit me in a slightly oversized way that I prefer for my t-shirts. The fabric is soft, and I appreciate that it’s a longer cut than your normal shirt.
Cat Potholders - Listed Value $15.99
I can always use potholders- I don’t know what it is about me, but mine always get beat up and are heavily used. These ones are certainly cute, though I do wish they were a touch thicker. Of course, they’re potholders and not oven mitts, and I’ve already put these to work in my kitchen without any issues.
Cat Soap Dispenser - Listed Value $18.99
This is a large soap dispenser- I think I’ll be using it for my kitchen rather than my bathroom because my kitchen sink soap dispenser gets more use. This ceramic cat soap dispenser has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel flimsy. Is it me or does Mr. cat look a bit grumpy? I find it charming, considering the attitude many cats possess (Goose included).
Honestly, I thought the bubble wrap from the soap dispenser box would be the star of the box this month- Goose LOVES bubble wrap.
Catnip Green Bean - Listed Value $6.99
How cute is this green bean cat toy? I never would have thought of it, but it seems fitting considering thanksgiving is also in the month of November.
Goose tolerated this, but it wasn’t his favorite. His preferred way to interact with it was by rubbing his face against it while I held it.
Catnip Candlestick, Listed Value $6.99
Goose went absolutely crazy for this candlestick cat toy- I guess I need to buy more toys with feathers because he’s obsessed with the orange feathers at the top of this toy. I’ve caught him playing with it multiple times since receiving it in the box, so this was definitely the star for Goose this month (even more than the bubble wrap).
Here I am wearing my shirt holding Goose while he plays with the candlestick toy. I don't know why he licks the feathers, but he was incredibly content doing so.

Key Takeaways
This is such a charming subscription box- I love that I get to share it with Goose, and I really love that so far the clothes sent have been incredibly, incredibly comfy, and cozy. I am very much a homebody now that we are almost 2 years into this pandemic, and I genuinely love spending my free time being cozy and chilling with my cat. This box was perfect for that this month, and I like that along with the shirt I received two items I can put to use immediately in my kitchen. This box strikes a great balance of practical and whimsical, and I look forward to seeing what the December box brings.
