Choice Items:

  2. Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade is going for $21 on the brand site, but unlike Boxycharm, they don't bundle the pomade with the brush--their brush is $10 extra. Will be interesting to see what the quality of the brush is to reach Boxycharm's estimation value of $39.
  3. Davines OI All In One Milk, retails for $36 on their site, so Boxycharm's estimation is spot on.
  4. Viseart Seamless Setting Powder retails for the same amount as Boxycharm's estimation of value, $35.

Wow! I can’t believe Davines is showing up in any subscription box. I started using this line about 8 months ago when my hair was just drying out and looking rough. I decided to stop buying my hair care from the drugstore because none of it helped or impressed me in the slightest. It’s all crap. My hair has never looked or felt better since using this line. It’s so soft and that Oi spray is the best product I have ever laid my hands on. I would give up my conditioner before giving up the Oi spray. It makes your hair feel like pure silk. I use it as a finishing spray after drying my hair and you need very little of it. Little tip to make it last a long time, spray it on your palms and work it through your dry hair with your hands. If you can get your hands on this with your Boxy sub, give it a try. It’s probably the best product in the entire box. I would never go without it, it is amazing, as are the rest of their products.

Nicole I could not agree more! I received a sample of the Oi spray in a Birchbox a long time ago and after it was gone I was crushed! It is SO EXPENSIVE but works like nothing else. I use it a little differently than you (I spray it on my hair before I dry it-love that it is a heat protectant too) but the results are the same-PURE SILK. I canceled my Boxy awhile back but *almost* resubbed just on the chance I would get the Oi spray. Luckily it was available in the Drop Shop for $9 and I stocked up during the time they let non-members shop. Just like you I highly recommend anyone who gets it try it. I also LOVE the smell. I know a lot of people hate it but it is one of the main selling points for me!

Anyone else not get their Boxyluxe yet? I got a shipping email on the 7th or so but when I click on tracking it hasn’t gone anywhere. I don’t even remember what I picked for my choice item now!

Please do not send me more mascaras, or brushes. I do not need or want them. Always seems like the base box is the better choice rather than the luxe box! Saw one being opened and if I get what she got, I’m giving up the luxe!

Come on msa who is doing your posts??? Put a bigger pic omg. I used to be on this site religiously now I check once a month if that. Get it together. Liz was smart and jumped ship before it sunk.

Stephanie, apologies for the poor experience. This was the only photo approved from Boxycharm to share, but in the future we’ll see if we can make some edits to make it more helpful!

Can someone tell me again, if I want the December Luxy and want to be able to choose, I’d have to subscribe before the 8th. But that means I would have to get the base box for November, right? Any chance to contact them and have them change it?

JoannaNYC

Yes, you have to get the November base box. No, there is no way to change it. That’s how they get you.
