First Impressions
My pieces arrived in the regular mailer and were individually wrapped in plastic bags.
Now, on to the lingerie!
So I try to always choose items from this subscription that take me way out of my comfort zone. Luckily, this is always super easy to do! This line specializes in edgy style and exciting fabrics. This faux leather set looks so incredibly cool, but could it possibly be comfortable? Because when I ordered these items the site was having a 50% off VIP sale, it felt like less of a risk since I was getting such a good deal. Savage X Fenty is always having fun sales on and off throughout the year so it is totally worth being a VIP!

I actually ended up having to exchange my size on this bralette which was confusing. I am currently an L/XL in tops and a 36G in most bras. I decided to grab this in a 1X, though I was scared it would actually be too big. Weeeeell, I ended up exchanging it for the 3X! The cups here run so small! It seems this is a problem for most subscribers as tons of the reviews reflect these same feelings. Weirdly, the 3X actually fits pretty well, even across the back. I think this is because the vinyl material is ruched and it stretches so it fits a wider size range. I was actually surprised at how structured this was once the cups actually fit and though this is 10000000% not bounce proof, it does keep everything where it should be.

Ok, these were way out there for me. And, honestly, how in the world can these fit well, be flattering, and be comfortable? Well, that vinyl really has a ton of unexpected stretch. These also had a compression effect and really smoothed my tummy out. Speaking of tummy, if yours is a little soft like mine is, be careful with the functional rose gold zipper. Because if you aren't, it can pinch when you zip! I loved the high-waisted and cheeky fit of these and while they are absolutely never the sort of underwear I would want to wear, well, under something, in terms of flashy lingerie, these were a big win. I felt edgy and confident!
Verdict
My Savage X Fenty picks this month were brave ones and the gamble paid off! The VIP 50% off sale made it feel less risky to try something that was pretty much 100% vinyl. I was shocked at how well these fit (once I sized way up in the top!) and how flattering and comfortable both pieces were. The choice of dark green makes these leather-look pieces feel even more unique and I can safely say I have literally nothing else like this in my lingerie drawer.

Can you get these pieces if you sign up today? Yes! But since these were featured in the most recent Savage X Fenty runway show, they sell out quick.
