The picture shows the neolastin to be 1.5 oz. My container says 0.6oz. Why is there a difference? Kind of disappointed in this box although the value is there

Underarm soap? My pits need a special soap packed with charcoal goodness? How much shower storage space do these companies think I have?

Tried to cancel TT now that they’ve decided not to show the products before billing for them. Their CS is a nightmare, esp. a certain woman who ‘works’ in the evening from home. She tells you to send them an email in response to any complaint. The latest one was that they lied to me when they offered free shipping for not cancelling. I agreed but guess what ? They didn’t honor it. They also offer one free product out of 3 choices not to cancel. Too bad nobody is minding the store and this layabout is able to run it into the ground singlehandedly. I’m so done!

I was offered my choice of one of three free gifts not to quit but cancelled anyway. Then I got billed for the November box! Numerous emails later I phoned them and must have talked to the same unhelpful woman you did; she kept saying “send an email.” I told her I had sent several emails and she said “can you send another email?” I gave up and hung up, found their cancellation letter, copied it, and sent it again. Guess what came last week in my mail? Yep! The November box which I did not open. Not sure what to do next…

Just an FYI to anyone that is interested. I just checked the Neolastin site, and it appears that the full size moisturizer is actually 1.5 ounces, with a retail value of $140. I know, this is the item that I was most excited about receiving too, and it is a sample size.

According to a Reddit thread (yeah, I know, it’s like getting your political news from TMZ), Symbiosis is a sister brand to Avant and Able brands. I googled and there’s a ton of it on the Nordstrom Rack site for 70% or more off. Didn’t expect this from NBTT. I’m sure it will turn up in the Allure box soon- hopefully after my subscription expires.

Darn! I just canceled due to being laid off of one of my jobs. This looks like a great tube. I would use all but the hair care item.

Hoppy

I wish they would announce spoilers earlier. So I would be able to choose to cancel my sub.

I have plenty of similar things from my other boxes that this box has.

Isn’t Symbiosis London a DLS company? If so, shame on New Beauty TestTube. And just so you know, pullulan (not “Pullulan,” New Beauty) is a polymer produced by a fungus.

Melissa

Please show me where I advocated for ignorance. I pointed out hypocrisy and, actually, pointed out your ignorance of not knowing the name of the company you are complaining about. Of course, it doesn’t help that MSA also doesn’t spell NewBeauty correctly, either.

Many skincare ingredients are made from fungus/mushroom. They’re densely nutritious. Pullulan isn’t an obscure ingredient. It’s used in many food products.

Melissa

Actually, it’s NewBeauty, all one word. And you are calling them out for capitalizing a word that doesn’t need to be capitalized?

Julia

Ignorance is actually not wonderful, believe it or not. I don’t understand why cosmetic companies capitalize ingredient names. What else do they choose to not pay attention to? Shows an attitude for inaccuracies. Nothing wrong with choosing a professional rather than an amateur appearance.

Stormi

LOL, seriously. Plus the “P” is capitalized on the packaging itself.
