after 10 years of getting 3 Ipsy’s and 1 Plus, last year I quit Ipsy for almost a year.. It was because of their shipping..I’m back and bought 10 mystery bags as I was running out of everything.. Here I am waiting for my bags for almost 2 weeks now.. I will give it 2 months and see if the shipping has improved, if not I’m quitting again

I have had my GBP in a paused holding pattern for almost 6 months now. I don’t know what happened, but their product offerings have completely tanked this year. So many unrecognizable brands that lead me to believe that there is a lot more re-branded, cheap, crap than most of us would have thought. I haven’t seen any hero products in ages.

I signed up several years ago to discover and try high end brands to see what I like and that’s just not what they are offering anymore. I am also ok with discovering unknown brands that put out superior products, problem being that I haven’t discovered anything that I love in that category either. The unknown brands are just ok, with some of them being complete garbage. I have plenty of nice makeup from Ipsy when they were doing a decent job. I don’t need the garbage they are pushing now. I don’t wear a ton of makeup and have all the nice pallets I could ever want. I have also discovered which high end products that I love and expire quicker than powder products. So I just repurchase those.

I really love skincare, but in that case I have signed up for the See New Skincare box. Anything in that box blows any skincare Ipsy sends completely out of the water. Highly recommend to those of you more interested in the skin care side of this.

I am much happier with my FFF and See New and both combined cost me less than a year of Ipsy. Sorry Ipsy, I just don’t see the value anymore. I know it’s only $28, but if I only get one out of 5 full size that I even care to use, it’s just a waste at this point.

Where is the makeup though?? 🤔 Liner and lipstick? That’s it? Blah I’m not thrilled about any of these products. I wish Yensa would just go away already. I’ve been so busy and forgot to skip so I am stuck with whatever comes in my bag because I missed “pick 3 items day” too. 😫 WAHH 😭😭also did anyone else noticed that the price went up??? I’m going to go curl up in a ball now…

Ipsy now owns boxycharm so that is why this keeps happening. They bought it out at the beginning of the pandemic.

I just wish they would change shipping partners. My bag gets shipped on the 3rd but I don’t actually receive it until the third or fourth week of the month??? Doesn’t give me enough time to try out the products to rate before I choose the next months products! Plus, I wish that I was able to choose my own shades and products rather than given 3 tiers. Most of the time I don’t want anything from one of the choices but want everything from another choice. I would also like to be able to edit previous ratings as I’ve enjoyed several products after the initial use.
While I love Ipsy and want to enroll my daughter for a bag, the issues I’ve been having recently are really making me second guess myself.

these boxes are getting repeats over and over…i use to get 6 boxes, now i’m down to 3 because every box has the same products..so tired ..guess’I’m just going to have to quit for a while…

I keep skipping the bag because of the Yensa turmeric exfoliater I’m afraid they’ll put it in my bag and I’m allergic to it ! I got it when I had Boxycharm , so I’m skipping until they get rid off it 😅

You might email Ipsy and let them know about your allergy so they don’t put it in your bag. They are supposed to do something if you had a reaction…or at least they used to. My skin didn’t like the Yensa brand either.

Has anyone else noticed Ipsy is now charging handling fees? Apparently for all “e-commerce” purchases. I was going to order an add-on, but I’m not paying an extra fee. They just raised the prices and now they are adding extra fees!

Really? They added more fees even with us having to pay their raised prices and taxes?! 🙄 Do you know how much these new fees are? I think this will help be my last month since idiot me forgot to pause in time for December, but I’ll probably just keep it paused unless they partner on Glam X with brand/someone that I want(I loved the Halsey box).
With this month being Christmas and full of birthdays along with so many birthdays in January,plus bills, my subscriptions and personal purchases are going to be non existent.

Ehh! These don’t impress me but surely they will offer more and better options. I am really hoping they offer the items I wanted in my Glam Bag X but they were not offered to me. I had my 3 items picked out and NOT ONE thing I wanted was even a choice for me. I would not have chosen any of the items in this bag. I dont really want the 3 I chose but I would rather have the ones I chose than let Ipsy choose for me. I am REALLY disappointed in the Nov bags. I unsubscribed to X because it is SO not worth it. Now I am going to decide which I want to keep between the Glam and Plus bags, if I keep either. Ipsy either does really great or they SUCK, there is no middle ground.

had the same problem :/ not to me thing I wanted was even a choice for me, and the items chosen for me were so poorly picked. I don’t understand, there’s a survey and reviews and I still ended up with a terribly curated box. I was so disappointed I unsubscribed as well.
